We loved this cabin. Everything was perfect about our stay. Joe was an amazing host and we felt right at home staying here. Highly recommend staying at one of Joe's properties. We loved that is was outside the City (Anchorage) but also very close to local stores and restaurants. It was an amazing stay and a beautiful area. We hope to make a return visit in the future!

Great little cabin. We will have to bring the family back up for a visit and spend more time at the cabin. The location is great. The hot tub was a treat for our wrestler. Overall a fantastic place and Kim was very communicative.

Cozy Bluff Getaway with Hot Tub

We had an incredible time staying and Rebecca and Ben’s place. It was cozy and peaceful. We loved cooking in the spacious kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub, and hanging out by the fire pit. Rebecca and Ben were incredibly responsive and gracious. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Private Guest Suite on the Bluff

The House on the Bluff was spectacular! I was traveling with my mom, who is in a wheelchair and on hospice care, and her caregiver. We needed to find a place that was wheelchair accessible. Valerie was very helpful in describing her space. I was confident knowing that we would be just fine taking care of my mom in the space. The house had all sorts of surprising treats! We loved the snacks, teas, special toiletries, and dog bowls for our little mini dachshund. The fire pit was a welcome surprise which we happily utilized. The early check-in and late check-out were much appreciated. I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Valerie, for providing a wonderful space.

“The Glamping Loft”- glorified “dry” camping!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Peggy is incredibly hospitable- happy to connect if guests want but also hands off if that’s desired. I would recommend taking some time to connect, as she’s an incredibly sweet person and loves to meet new people! If can, I would highly recommend asking about a flight seeing opportunity over Denali. It’s weather dependent but her husband is an incredible pilot and so knowledgeable. The opportunity is priceless and will take your breath away. In terms of the stay - the space is very comfortable. Peggy is very clear about its bathroom/plumbing limitations which wasn’t an issue for me. If you’re not one that’s ok with a more “rustic” experience, though, it may not be the space for you. The space has great heating, lots of games, and comfortable beds and lounging space. The area is quiet and lots of stars at night!

LOVE: Creekside DOME

This was a fun getaway to disconnect from everyday life. Not gonna lie having to use the outhouse in the middle of the night in the dark with the cold was challenging, but so worth it considering the views and peacefulness. If you want to disconnect and be one with nature glamping i recommend

The Vintage Villa ~ Simply Relaxing

This is the second time we’ve stayed and it was just as amazing as the first! We love the addition of the kitchen. Dawn has thought of everything- comfy beds, lots of pillows, linens, blankets, and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom has everything you need. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend Dawn’s place!

We’ve stayed here in mid-AK winter and now in spring. Love the deck and access to lawn and lake, great view and does not feel like we’re in the city, yet it is and location is perfect for easy access to local establishments. Place is super clean and one of the few places I’ve stayed that has everything a traveler could need.

Lake it Easy

We had a wonderful stay over the Easter holiday. Everything was clean and comfortable, and there were thoughtful details throughout the space. We will definitely be back once the lake has thawed out, so we can enjoy the outdoor spaces more! We cannot recommend this place enough

My stay was lovely. The unit is so cute. Perfect for couple or solo travel. Suite has everything you need. Little glass of wine at night was perfect. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was great with excellent shower pressure. Once in a while you can hear noise from attached household but it was minimal. Overall it was very peaceful and I slept well. I hope this unit is available for my many trips to the valley. But the good ones book up fast.

We enjoyed our stay here. The home is very comfortable, clean, and more spacious than we expected. It is stocked with a lot of extras including fresh farm eggs. Barbara was there to greet us and show us around. She is very friendly and responsive to messages. The property is beautiful and well maintained. If you need a place to stay in the Palmer area, I recommend Lazy Mountain Acres #2.

The Airstrip / Custom Hot Tub

Beautiful and cozy cabin in a peaceful location. Well stocked with all of the essentials and some extras in the kitchen. We got to watch a plane land out the back yard, but it still felt very private and just added to the experience. Warming up in the sauna and hot tub was lovely, especially after a cold day in the mountains.

Shawn’s place was very clean. We had a great stay and location was excellent for us near family. The place matched the pictures and description well. We would be happy to stay there again. The slippers were a nice unexpected touch!
