Birds of a Feather Lockington

An affordable and unique stay in the Echuca region. A lovely historic building with a modern interior that’s been renovated to accommodate families and travellers. The house sleeps 6. In one room there is a queen bed and in the other a triple bunk with a trundle bed . The bathroom has 2 showers and 2 toilets. There are several areas to relax in with air-conditioning and free wifi. Constructed in 2021 using some materials recovered from the original 1885 house it has a large open plan living area, balcony and alfresco, backyard and front yard space (sorry no pets). Close to towns of Nagambie, Avenel and Euroa. Opposite rail line and close to local businesses the Rockery and Longwood Community Centre, local wineries Mitchellton, Tabilk, RPL, Fowle’s, Hide and Seek and Maygars.

Mary Ann Road Garden Cottage

Mary Ann Road Garden Cottage is a self-contained, one bedroom cabin, looking onto the garden trees and flower beds of our semi-rural property on the edge of Echuca. While perfectly suited for couples or single travellers, the cottage is unsuitable for people travelling with pets. Only 8 minutes’ drive from the centre of Echuca, everything is within comfortable reach; but you’ll sleep in the country peace and quiet and probably wake to the sound of birdsong.

Studio 237 Private self contained Apt/Balcony

Studio 237 is a modern, self contained apartment upstairs with private balcony. A BBQ is supplied on the balcony as well as limited cooking facilities in the kitchen including convection/microwave oven, induction cooktop and dishwasher. The pantry is stocked tea, coffee, sugar, sauces etc. internet is provided free of charge plus Netflix on smart TV. A washing machine is located under the staircase for use with a clothes horse stored in cupboard.

Eppalock Hilltop Retreat is an Eco Friendly Tiny Home situated on 20 acres of secluded bushland in the Lyell State Forest. It boasts hilltop views of Mt Alexander and the Eppalock ranges where you will find an abundance of wildlife such as Kangaroos, Wallabies, Goannas and Lizards. Enjoy some local cider and chocolates included in your welcome hamper from the outdoor hot tub, or cozy up with a movie beside the mini log fire inside.

Immerse yourself in a bit of railway history in this unique converted carriage. Located in the heart of the Avenel township, you'll have everything you need for the perfect getaway. Relax on the deck and watch the trains go by, or wander down the road for a cocktail or woodfired pizza. Avenel is a great launching pad for all that the Strathbogie region has to offer - art, history, wine and some fabulous restaurants.

Located in a native garden with fruit trees and veggie garden, within 10 minutes drive to Bendigo. Relax by the firepit and enjoy a BBQ and beer or walk over the road to Farmers Arms Hotel for a meal. We have ample room for a large vehicle, truck or trailer. The O'Keefe Rail Trail for hiking and mountain biking is a 2-minute ride. Close to Heathcote wineries and the attractions of Central Victoria.
