Nestled in a picturesque setting, it boasts stunning views of the surrounding countryside, making it an idyllic retreat for those seeking tranquility. The cottage has a cozy, inviting interior, featuring exposed stone walls and traditional design the cottage offers comfortable and well appointed accomodation. Inside there is a king bedroom and charming twin bedroom, providing versatile sleeping arrangements.

Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

The romance, splendour and variety of landscapes to be found in Galloway lies at the door of The Old Servants’ Hall. The Signal Box is a cosy retreat to switch off in nature. On the edge of Galloway Forest Park and within the UNESCO Biosphere, it’s surrounded by wildlife. Culzean Castle and Country Park is a 40-min drive. Nearby, wild swimming is available at Girvan Beach, Galloway Forest Park, and the Water of Minnoch in Glen Trool. Galloway Forest highlights include scenic trails, Bruce’s Stone, and the Red Deer Range. On the edge of the Dark Sky Park, it’s perfect for stargazing.

Soak in the views of the Isle of Arran whilst you soak in your private wood-fired hot tub. Our Eden pod is compact, cosy and comfortable. It sleeps 2 people and comes with a smart TV and Wi-fi. A two ring hob, a kettle and a toaster. Inside is open plan but cosy with a king-size bed, armchair and settee and kitchen area. The bathroom contains a toilet, sink and shower.
