Thurranes cottage 3

The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Friendly Farmhouse Víðidalsá, room 31

A friendly old farmhouse built in 1926, that is slowly being renovated. There are no animals anymore except Loppa the dog, but a horse rental is only a 2 minutes walk. A peaceful surrounding with a crystal clear salmon river (a fishing license needed) right by the house. Located in the countryside close only a 2-3 minutes drive from Hólmavík village, which has several attractions, an excellent warmwater swimming pool, a supermarket, a brewery and a couple of good restaurants. Hvammur 2 Bjarg Cottage with a private hot tub

Bjarg is a summerhouse in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place, surrounded with trees. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.

Svansholl Apartment 3 - Supreme Studio

Spacious, stylish and warm apartment in the countryside. Studio apartment 3 (sleeps 3) has a private bathroom, kitchenette with stove, senseo-coffee machine, fridge, microwave, water-kettle and a toaster. Free Wifi and parking. Shared entrance with Apt 2. The farm has a natural hot-spring, small forestry and a blooming greenhouse well worth visiting. Also, Svansholl is located next to Hotel Laugarholl where you can buy breakfast, dinner or pool-access.

Cottage with spectacular view

Spectacular view over Steingrímsfjord and the island Grímsey. Lovely cottage close to Drangsnes. The cottage has two bedrooms, both have a double bed and a bunk bed over the bed. Six persons can stay in the cottage. Bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and cutlery and tableware. The untouched nature and birdlife is amazing in this area.

Glaðheimar Guesthouse

Glaðheimar is located in Króksfjarðarnes a perfect location before exploring Westfjords. Back in the day Glaðheimar was an Old post office and just across the rode was the main store for farmers and people in the area which has now a Handcraft marked. The view over Breiðafjörður from the house is amazing and the sun will not set until 23 and watching the sunset is just breathtaking

Lights solar-cells /solar-electricity f. phone charging. 50 meters to river/waterfalls, and sea shore. One double bed, one bunk bed , one portable couch. A public swimming pool and showers about 5 km away.

A lovely rustic house by the sea

Hólmavík is a very beautiful fishing town. It is in the western part of Iceland, by Steingrímsfjörður. It serves as a centre of commerce in the north west and has 375 inhabitants. Hólmavík is home to the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft.
