Ski in the winter, fish 3 types of trout, tubing & soak in our creek, swing over the creek and relax by the fire pit. River Ridge Retreat is a beautiful 4-bed 3-bath home on 1.3 wooded acres in the gated River Ridge community just 6 mi from Boone. This warm and inviting house sits on a ridge above the New River, which provides great mountain views from the deck and from inside through a soaring wall of windows. The home offers multiple living and entertaining options, 7-person hot tub, and beds for 10 adults. A short 4 minute walk takes you to a river access where you can fish, play, and tube in the New River.

Our 750 sq ft. Cabin offers WiFi, streaming TV, central AC and heat, fully stocked kitchen, coffee provided, towels, comfortable bed and quality linens. We are 1/2 mile from the North Fork of New River. It's a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains. Dogs welcome!

Cottage on the New is a vacation home in Todd, NC with the New River running right in the front yard! ***NOTE: our private shared bridge sustained damage from Hurricane Helene and we are still waiting for it to be replaced. It looks bad, but is still usable. *** The outdoors is your playground with skiing, biking, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing at your fingertips. If relaxing is your style, simply enjoy the view of the river valley from the hot tub, hammock or rocking chairs.
