Unique living space attached to our covered riding arena. Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Private property on our farm with many amenities, including Wi-Fi, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gym available. Very relaxing place!

Sycamore Hill cottage is perfect for a couple, family, or a group of friends. (Also a peaceful solo retreat!) It is one big living space with a king bed, double futon, fully equipped kitchen, bath, and laundry. Guests have access to 38 acres of woodlands, trails and the cottage gardens. Big Creek is easily accessible, clear, and has great shallow sections for kids or just hanging out. Just minutes from Hanging Rock State Park, the bike trails on Moore's Springs Road, and the Dan River.

Our cabin is only 3 miles from Hanging Rock State Park, voted by USA Today as one of the “20 Stunning State Parks Across the USA.” The Dan River (walking distance) is home to kayaking, tubing, fishing, and white-water; and Pilot Mountain State Park is just 20 miles away!

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

The George Farmhouse in Stokes County

The George Farmhouse was established in 1898 and has remained in the family for generations. The family has decided to open the house to guests. The farm is operational with cows, horses and other farm related activities. Guests should not be surprised to see tractors in operation and other daily tasks taking place around the house. From the property you can see the majestic view of Moore's Wall and Hanging Rock. We are located approximately 5 minutes from Hanging Rock State Park.

The Lucky House

This renovated farmhouse (2020) is nestled back in the foothills of Stokes County with breathtaking views of Cook's Wall and has all the privacy for a relaxing get-away. This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home sleeps 6 and is just minutes from all that Stokes County has to offer. Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain State Parks are just a short drive away. Wake Forest University and downtown Winston-Salem are both within a 30 min drive. Several local vineyards are also guest favorites.
