In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. My place is close to Smoky Mountains, Helen, Tallulah Gorge, waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain lakes, hour from Atlanta, parks, great views, restaurants, art and culture. World class trout fishing just 20 minutes away, where I caught my 10 lb., 26" one! I welcome couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Popular hiking trails and waterfalls are just 3 miles away. Handicapped accessible, including shower. TV with dozens of DVD movies, no cable or satellite.

Tranquil Chauga River Getaway

Tranquil Chauga River Getaway offers a clean, safe, quiet retreat on beautiful Chauga River. There is a private dock that offers fishing and access by boat to Lake Hartwell. Multiple private decks provide river views, as well as, wildlife like ducks, blue herring, birds, and the occasional beaver. Private, dead end road access means minimal traffic. Area provides activities like waterfalls, hiking, kayaking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing pier, rafting, sightseeing, etc.

Toccoa Guesthouse.

The main home was built in 1905. The Guesthouse was designed as a true ‘in-law’ suite and was constructed in 2010. We're in the historic downtown Toccoa neighborhood where folks still sit on their front porches and greet others as they amble by on the sidewalks. You are welcome to use the rear porch and breezeway during your visit with us. You’ll find the property convenient, quiet and private with the advertised essential amenities available to make your visit pleasurable.

Barn Loft

Flooded with natural light, the barn loft features an open kitchen and bedroom library. Enjoy a broad vista of rolling hills and mixed hardwood forest. This 640 sq ft apartment has a full kitchen and master bath. A/C and heat with plenty of parking. Conveniently located about equidistant between Clayton and Clarksville. Just 4 miles of Tallulah Falls, and about a mile from the Panther Creek Trailhead. There is no wifi or television, so bring a book.

Dock Holiday’s Lake House

Stay with us if you are looking for a peaceful cottage on the lake! Spend your mornings on our open air back porch enjoying freshly brewed coffee or tea. Spend your afternoons down by the lake where you will find our private swim platform dock and a couple kayaks to get you out on the water. Conveniently located 15 minutes from restaurants and groceries in Toccoa GA. *Check-in time is between 4pm and 10pm. We do not allow check-ins after 10pm*

Get away from the daily hustle bustle with calm & relaxing lakeside waters! Our newly renovated home provides a short, easy walk down to your own private dock in a deep water cove. This is your haven on the lake without the water & road traffic of Hartwell. From inside the home, take in the wide lake views from a screened-in patio overlooking the water. *Check-in time is between 4pm and 10pm. We do not allow check-ins after 10pm*
