This is my second time staying on the Animal Farm and it did not disappoint! Geoffrey and his space are very hospitable and welcoming, making living in the countryside a breeze. Make sure to grab some foods on the way so that you can cook in the kitchen with a stellar view and don’t forget to bring your bird watchers because the amount of hummingbirds you’ll see is mind blowing. Nothing but amazing things to say about this paradise! I will absolutely be back!

I truly loved the stay and the pool. This is a gem. The location is easily reached by drivers from the indrive app (uber equivalent). The pool is clean and nice. The room I was in was aesthetically pleasing, I do wish there was a place to clean utensils but this is something you can set up with the host. Claudia is very attentive and she has so many stories to share. Overall very pleasant stay, not too far from the hipstrip (~10mins) and most beaches (doctors cave, Harmony beach park and Tropical bliss) are also under 20 minutes by car from the place. Gorgeous home, every touch felt personal and of superb taste. Will come back.

Vanessa’s place in Montego Bay was exactly as pictured—clean, cozy, and welcoming. What made the stay even better was how quiet and enjoyable the space was, offering a peaceful retreat after a day out. The location is a true winner—everything Montego Bay has to offer is easily accessible with local cab service. The combination of comfort, accuracy, and accessibility made this a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

it’s at the heart of downtown if you’re a backpacker you can just walk from the airport to this location which I did for 30+mins. lots of shops places to eat along the way harmony beach is nearby, stayed at room 5 super spacious and clean bathroom, can’t wait to go back and stay here again and explore more of Jamaica and oh if you’re a light sleeper and sensitive to lights bring ear plugs and eye mask, too bad my stay was short.

We had a wonderful stay at O’Neil’s place, a beautiful rustic retreat nestled in the hills. The room was cosy with a great TV and Netflix for relaxing in the evenings. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hosts and their family couldn’t have been kinder. They gave us fantastic local recommendations and made us feel so welcome. If you’re thinking about booking it, just go for it.

Beautiful property! Great beach, pools, restaurants and amenities. Host was great to deal with, highly responsive and accommodating. One caution: the cab fare on that stretch of hwy is so expensive! We did utilize the driver recommended by the host, and he was great, but all cab prices for that area are highly inflated. Tip: once you are in town, you can find well priced Ubers to get back to the condo. We found one for $14USD.

Es ist eine Farm direkt am Fluss inmitten einer üppigen Vegetation. Es gibt Esel, Ziegen, Kühe und freundliche Hunde. Man kommt sich vor wie in einer anderen Zeit. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben auch eine Wanderung gemacht. Das Essen war sehr reichhaltig und ausgezeichnet. Ganz in der Nähe kann man mit dem Bambusfloß fahren. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat eine große Terrasse mit Blick auf den Fluss.

WHERE DO I BEGIN!? What was supposed to be a one week trip turned into a little over two! Animal Farm is breathtakingly gorgeous! This is the perfect location for anyone who’s looking for a reset in nature. Geoffrey was EXTREMELY kind and communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The groundskeeper Kevin was equally kind and helpful! The property itself is located right on the river so you can bathe, play, relax, all the things - right there. The farm itself is HUGE with countless animals, all of which are well cared for and are a sight to see. I can’t see myself booking anywhere else from here on out! 10000/10 stay and i will absolutely be back!

It was great!!! Solid location. It was a bit difficult to find, but just because the photos with directions didn't load until I was actually there on wifi. The place was very clean, the communication wonderful and I liked the close proximity to everything!

A tranquil haven to relax after busy days of travel and tourism. A wonderfully Jamaican experience: both charming and incredibly hospitable. The staff were the high point, going beyond expectation to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Our meals were delicious and authentic, including aromatic Blue Mountain coffee with breakfast. Please don't expect an inclusive resort experience. Instead, immerse yourself in the culture and relax to the cool mountain vibes.

We had a wonderful time during our one night in Black River. We enjoyed dinner with our host, Barry, and the other guests, and spent time with local fishermen on the beach behind the Airbnb.l. The town itself is stunning, and we highly recommend it. A black river visit and this Airbnb.
