Listing is very accurate. The house is comfortable, spotless clean, well appointed. Walking ( 1/2 mile or so) distance to restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Backyard very inviting, pleasant to relax. Beds so very comfortable. Kitchen, bright and had all amenities you might need. Both a drip coffee machine and a Keurig machine are in the kitchen which was a nice surprise. The welcome snacks of fresh strawberries and cake were a nice touch and appreciated.

This large, lovely home with all it’s amenities, was just as described and photos were accurate. They even decorated it for Mardi Gras and welcomed us with a delicious King Cake and treats. Hosts went above and beyond with responsiveness and meeting any need. He even went and bought us a new blender within minutes of telling him it wasn’t working. It was more than enough private spaces for our group of 7 adults as well as large living room to gather. Mattresses and pillows were super comfortable in every bedroom, including daybed and trundle beds. Large master bath had 2 showers and a jacuzzi tub. Lots of nice towels. Plenty of space in the kitchen and places to sit and eat or visit. Quiet area in a cul-de-sac with lots of space outside including a great views out the front from the large kitchen and views of the open backyard and the bayou right out back. Lots of parking for cars in the private driveway. We had three and could have fit even more. We would certainly stay there again!

Davey responded quickly when we had any questions. The place is awesome, tall ceilings, simple and fun decor. Best neighborhood if you like a quieter neighborhood with great food and bars within walking distance!

Wonderful clean place. Very peaceful and it was the perfect place to get some silence. Driveway parking is great. Would recommend it to anyone to stay.

Christine was an excellent host. From the very thoughtful and clear communication to the hand-written notes, fresh flowers and snacks she was so very thoughtful throughout the entire stay and before. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, there were ao many extras like hair dryer, air mattress and toiletries that also really were a plus. Great house for a great price. We will be back!!!

We had a group come down to bowl the national bowling tournament in Baton Rouge and to visit New Orleans. The location was perfect to do both. The house was clean and very comfortable. Trish was very responsive when i sent her a text or two with questions about different things. We even set off the alarm one afternoon and it was taken care of within a few minutes. Very enjoyable stay and would recommend for anybody that wants to visit New Orleans!!

I have stayed at Justin’s house several times and he is always so easy to work with and the houses are perfect for what we need when we come to watch my daughter play softball

Came to New Orleans for a wedding and was so happy to find George’s place. Both my kids have pet allergies so I was so happy to hear that his place was not only pet free but he had very high quality air filters! We slept great and enjoyed neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back!

We had the best stay at 1212 Alvar Street! From the beginning, Gabby was so accommodating, helpful, and friendly. We had an issue w/ our reservation and she fixed it in a jiffy. The house was exactly as described, the inside/decor was fun and a little quirky so we loved it. We even added to one of her fun collections as a “thank you”. The location was great, everything was minutes away on the bikes! That was our favorite part, the bicycles. We did day and night biking, they have lights, locks, and helmets, everything you need for a good and safe bike ride. We’re still sore from all the riding! Also, it was nice to know the host’s brother lives next door and is there to help with any issues in the house, not that we needed anything, our stay went off w/o a hitch. Another favorite part of ours was the amazing smell of the jasmine vines growing on the property, they also have awesome succulents everywhere. I would definitely recommend this place for an awesome stay! And an awesome host!

This was probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. It was huge, clean, and comfortable. The private parking was a giant plus, and the drive to the French Quarter was really short even with traffic. Our host was extremely responsive and very friendly, especially when we requested another night because we loved the place so much. I hope to be able to rent this place again when we return to NOLA!

Darleen was very friendly and hospitable. We were unpleased with a separate airbnb situation across town and needed a new spot quickly. Darleen had us in there in no time and we were very pleased with the experience. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time and Stacy is a wonderful host, welcoming and extremely kind. We felt at home and if we came back to New Orleans, we would choose her place again. We highly recommend going there.

Where do I begin lol I ABSOLUTELY LOVEDDDDDD IT our stay was everything! and the backyard is amazing I love the flowers and the whole scenery so amazing 20/10 lol we’d definitely be back.

Its a wonderful, old, quirky space that has been updated and is totally functional and roomy. The location is perfect for access to the various neighborhoods in NOLA. Very close to good restaurants, short walk to the Quarter etc. The C unit is up three flights of stairs (which I missed in the pictures and description) which wasn't really a problem except we had one person in a "boot". Otherwise it was clean and safe, functional and historic. So all in all very nice.

Has a real nice time cruising the shops and restaurants on Magazine. Street car and bus to get to the Quarter are also readily accessible

Fatima's Son and Husband was extremely helpful and friendly when we first arrived. I was at the wrong cabin and Fatima responded immediately. And her family guided us. Fatima had the sweetest spirit ever. Very welcoming and The cabin is Perfect for 2 people but we made 3 work. Their website was extremely helpful with finding places to explore. The place was very peaceful only 22 mins from the French Quarters in New Orleans. They had the best rates during Mardi Gras. I loved the screened in Porch which made it perfect for a late night or early morning Meditation, read, or journal writing. I would definitely use this place again. Very Cozy.

This is a great stay away from crowed after going to Mardi Grass. The atmosphere was very pleasing. It's like 31 minutes from Bourbon street

We have stayed at several Airbnbs before, but never one like Timmy and Terese's. We immediately felt like family. Their generosity goes above and beyond. They were always willing to offer advised for things to do, places to go or where the best fishing may be. They had extensive knowlege of the area and always a good story to share. They truly wanted us to experience the Cajun culture and even shared some authentic Cajun meals with us. The pictures of the house and grounds don't do it justice. The house was clean and they made sure we had everything that we needed. The pool, the hot tub and the beatiful landscaping helped us relax and make the vacation more memorable. We went to their place with fishing and crabbing in mind. Timmy and Terese were always ready with recommendations on where to go. The choices are endless either in the bayou, the lakes or even in the back pond. We would definitely recommend this Cajun Paradise.

Steve was amazing, and very welcoming and friendly. The place is really gorgeous, especially the dock. You're right on the water, and you wake up to the beautiful sunrise out of the windows. You can fall asleep to the sounds of wildlife, and wake up rested and refreshed. Highly highly recomend.

We spent a month at Catie's cabin on the river and couldn't have been more pleased. The cabin is rustic and comfortable, not unlike something you would have been happy to find a generation ago, but absolutely modern with great wifi and cable TV. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, everything (and I mean everything) you might want. Very quiet on a dead-end road meaning there was no vehicle traffic. Just the occasional boat drifting by. Catie responded immediately if we had a question. This property is a real find and a bargain. We were delighted to find it.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
