My husband and I stayed with Jacky & Igmar for 1 month. We loved our stay. We are fitness swimmers so their 25 metre 6 lane pool was a delight and a big draw for us. We often swam several times per day. They were great hosts. If you needed something and couldn’t find it, Jacky would either point us in the right direction or provide it for us herself. For example, we wanted good bread. Well, Jacky makes a truly great & healthy loaf of bread. We were so impressed! Also they rent out a couple of scooters so it’s just so easy with Jacky at SCGalle. We loved living in a local neighbourhood that was close to everything, yet far enough away that it was very peaceful. In fact, we were right next to a buddhist temple that certainly added to the peaceful atmosphere. From our deck we often saw many different colourful birds and playful monkeys. And we can’t forget to mention, Rex, Jacky & Igmar’s lovable dog. We will definitely stay with them again. Reid & Monica 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Heel fijn en ruim verblijf met een eigen keuken, zitruimte en badkamer. Gelegen in een zijstraat, dus rustig en toch vlakbij alle restaurants, strand… Lieve en vriendelijke mensen.

Nayani’s place was just perfect. It has all you need, great location and very clean. We have return to Colombo within the same trip and book the same place again. Definitely recommend the place :)

Thilan’s place is beyond my expectation! It is located at a quiet village, only 7 to 8 mins Tuktuk from the beach. The room is spacious and super clean, with all necessary amenities! Thilan and Buddhi were really helpful. You can easily go to restaurants nearby or at the beach by messaging Buddhi and let him take you. Highly recommended this place if you want to have a quality stay while enjoying the beach at Hikkaduwa.

very nice host very friendly and an awsome place . i really loved being here just couple of things to mention 1 the street dogs are really aggressive . we had to ask for a tuk tuk for help in crossing the street at night 2 its really hot it will be good if 2 table fans are provided rest is all good

Awesome place! Bummer I only stayed one night because the place was really beautiful and Liyanage was very kind and helpful with everything. Would definitely come back any time!

We travelled for a month, and this was the last stay in Sri Lanka. We stayed various places, and I can tell that Pradeep's place was one of the most valuable place to spend longer time. Everything was just right. Room and bathroom were clean, and everything which is posted are there for you. Host and his family help you out all the time. It is a bit away from the city centre, but very calm and nice place without any disturbances. You also could rent a scooter from Pradeep. We rented many scooters during the trip, and this was the lowest price to rent it. We drove scooter, and could easily get Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna, and Galle Fort. He also asked his father to help us to get the Galle Railway Station on the day we checked-out. Thank you Pradeep, and the ice-cream cone was the best ever 👍🏼

I’m a repeat guest and absolutely love staying at Pradeep’s apartments! I always feel right at home. I enjoyed waking up each morning and sitting out on my balcony when the sunrise overlooking the rice fields and just enjoying the peace and serenity with nature. I worked remotely and there is fiber optic WiFi which was suitable for video calls. I was provided with breakfast and dinner each day as I wanted it. However, I also used the pick me app once to have food delivered to me and I had it within an hour and was about 600 LKR. My experience was great! I stayed for two weeks this time but would have loved to stay longer. I definitely recommend this place is you are looking for a a comfortable place away from the city center (15-20 min) that is quiet and great for working. If I needed to go into the city, I just walked about 5 minutes to the bus stop and caught the bus into town for 65 LKR.
