Little House Inn - Private House - Secluded

Reconnect with loved ones in our peaceful and cozy, family-friendly home. Our little house is situated on an acre & a half of land surrounded by wetlands and woods yet minutes from local colleges and amenities. Enjoy the beautiful night sky while relaxing by the fire pit. Or take in the woodland view from your deck with your morning coffee and yoga workout (mat provided). Deer, turkeys, bunnies, & many native birds are regular visitors. Beautiful year round getaway! Relax and have a glass of wine by the lake. Wake early to enjoy the sun rising directly over the lake with a fresh cup of coffee. Enjoy direct lake access on a trophy bass lake including a beautiful dock. Hot tub overlooking the water open year round. Enjoy dinner in front of beautiful gas fireplace. Amazing sunrises and colorful sunsets. The location and amenities make for a fantastic romantic getaway for two! Centrally located 30 minutes from the Mohegan Casino.

Cozy cottage 5 minutes from UConn

Wake up to the morning sun over the lake in the loft, or rise after the sun in one of the two back bedrooms. Enjoy a morning coffee or tea while enjoying the lake view from the live edge bar top overlooking the water and watch for the Swans, Bald Eagles, and Blue Herons. After a hike on the trails, kayaking up the lake into conservation land, or fishing off the dock, relax in the hot tub. As the sun sets over the trees cuddle up on the couch with a good book and keep an ear out for the owls.

This home is nestled in a family neighborhood, on a quiet road that ends with a cul-de-sac. This is a whole house rental, not a shared space. Situated about one mile from the Connecticut line, there is quick access to Rte. 91. Bradley International Airport is a 15 minute ride in light traffic. The Basketball Hall of Fame, MGM Casino, Dr. Seuss Museum, Six Flags, The Big E, Springfield Symphony Orchestra, just a few of the area attractions. Great restaurants and grocery shopping nearby.

Whether you are here to ski, hike, hear the great musicians at Tanglewood, take in a play at Shakespeare & Co, or just relaxing our wood-fired hot tub- we hope you enjoy your stay and will visit us again.

Built in 1785 this antique Cape was carefully restored to its original design about 20 years ago. The house is set on a quiet road in the middle of fields, woods, gardens, and hiking trails. it is secluded with easy access to the natural world. The rooms are book-lined and filled with family objects. It is close to Berkshire East for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and whitewater rafting and swimming in the summer. Mass MoCA and the Clark Museum are within an easy drive.

Built in the early 1800s, our renovated farm house can accommodate families and friends comfortably. This 1600 square foot home can keep everyone together: three large bedrooms upstairs and an optional fourth downstairs. Large backyard and deck made for outside fun. Two full bathrooms, laundry, large farm table with seating for 10, and a full kitchen. Plenty of options for hiking at or near the house. (Sorry, we are not able to host weddings.)
