Historic House Close to Fredericksburg

Travel back in time nearly 200 years and stay at the Bazil Gordon House -built by America's first millionaire. Circa 1820, this house started as the private home of Bazil Gordon a short walk from his trading outpost in Historic Falmouth, VA directly on the Rappahannock River. The house has also been a civil war hospital, a stop on the underground railroad, a tavern, an excavation site that found venetian trade beads in the back yard, and it is now completely remodeled in 2021 to host guests.

This quiet Lake Anna hideaway is ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and busyness of everyday life. Situated on 1 acre of wooded privacy, this home is a short 5 minute walk to the lake and all the common area has to offer. An adjacent laundry room is available for your use upon request (FOC). The small deck, patio and fully fenced yard are included for your exclusive use. Parking is available on the street right out front of our home.
