Built with timber off the property, restored to a tranquil oasis. The cottage has cathedral ceilings and is spacious, wake up in the morning to the sunrise and the spectacular view over Bruny. Close to restaurants and vineyards of the area including Peppermint Bay Hotel, Mewstone Winery Grandview cheese Only 12 minutes to Cygnet village and 45 to Hobart.

Appledore - Cabin in the Valley

This unique place has a style all its own. With expansive views across the valley Appledore is a picture of the Huon. A luxurious cabin handmade by local craftsman from the ground up. The property is on 25 acres of land with a mixture of lush Huon Valley pasture and meandering forest through which a small creek flows into the Huon River. Appledore is a working farm you can explore at your leisure. Pull an apple from the tree and feed the cows if you wish or cuddle a lamb (if you can catch one)

Centrally located in the township of Alonnah on the western side of Bruny Island, The Boathouse is an ideal place to base yourself for everything that Bruny has to offer. Rosendale Stables

Reconstructed sandstone barn set on working asparagus farm offers comfort and seclusion. Features expansive glass areas and generous verandah/pergola. The garden features English trees planted in colonial settlement days circa 1807 to 1850. Excellent shopping opportunities within 5 kilometres; 45 minutes to Hobart: 1hour to airport; 20 minutes to Mount Field National Park. On farm produce available in season in an area of growing culinary endeavour.

Bowhill Grange - Elizabeth’s Cottage

An unexpected and tranquil oasis surrounded by hundreds of acres of prime merino pastures, Bowhill Grange is a collection of 1854 National Trust listed farm buildings. Elizabeth’s Cottage combines wonderful original features with thoughtfully sourced furnishings. A full length verandah is the perfect spot for sundowners or soaking in the views. Midway between Launceston and Hobart and a great base to explore Tassie.

Please be aware we are not located on Bruny Island.
