We’re minutes away from Inverness, Cabot Links & the most beautiful beaches on our island This unit sleeps 6 comfortably but has the option to sleep an additional 2 on sofabeds if sharing a smaller space is not a concern We’re the perfect last stop when travelling the Cabot Trail from East to the West side of the island & we’re only a short drive to the mainland when leaving or if you prefer to start your Cape Breton adventure travelling up the west coast we are on your way to the Cabot Trail

Kitchen is fully equipped and barbecue as well for cooking. Master suite upstairs has a king bed with bathroom including walk-in shower and free-standing tub. Additional gazebo/sunroom just built.

We are located just 20 minutes from the town of Inverness, where you can enjoy a round of golf at our world class golf courses as well as enjoy many great restaurants and beaches. The studio guesthouse is quaint and comfortable and comes with everything you may need for a relaxing getaway including an oceanfront sauna. We look forward to having you stay:)

The Worn Doorstep - Queen Suite

Save $$ on longer stays! Air-conditioned suite with private entrance on the lower level of a family home. Including, a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea facilities, and toaster. There is a shared barbeque for guest use. Check-in instructions will be sent via the Airbnb app. Please read carefully prior to your arrival. **We live on main floor so foot traffic and our dogs may be heard. Only 1 parking spot per room.**

Swallow Bank Cottage #3 on the Margaree River

This one bedroom cottage is located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 3 has been recently renovated inside and out. New bathroom, upgraded kitchen, and a queen bed with a luxury Logan & Cove mattress. The cottage also has a sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. Check in is anytime after 3pm. Check out is 11am.

You’ll find the bright and fresh feel of the open concept cottages flows out onto a large outdoor deck where guests can sit in the sun or find shade under the overhang.

Bothan Beag - Tiny House on the Water

Our 25’ x 8.5’ tiny house is situated on a beautiful secluded piece of ocean front property in Port Hood with a secluded beach and spacious deck. There is a loft with a queen sized bed and a sofa in the main area that turns into a double bed. There is a 3 piece bathroom in the back underneath the loft as well as a second small private room with enough space to set up a pack n' play.

The Garden Shed

Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
