Doe Mtn Cabin #2, HOT TUB!!!! Access to trails!

Our secluded cabins are on top of a mountain with on-property access to the Doe Mountain Recreational Area. Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Camping, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids). Dog friendly.

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Hear the sounds of the creek right behind the cabin and cross the bridge to see the horses! This Land was home to the Cherokees and offers not only a place to stay but an experience. Up on the Laurel’s Dongola Cabin is a secluded, compact 384 square foot cabin designed to be a place for recreating, writing, relaxing and star-gazing. It sits on the south side of Iron Mountain in the Jefferson National Forest’s Mount Rogers National Recreation Area and takes in the scenic views of Whitetop Mountain and Mount Rogers. Its proximity to sites and towns of middle Appalachia, along with its fresh water, fresh air and relaxed pace make our cabin a lovely spot to visit.

Connect with nature at Loon Tune's cabin tucked in a quiet cove with pristine views of the Cherokee National Forest and Watauga Lake. This location is teaming with wildlife -Wood Ducks, Kingfishers, Bald Eagles, and Loons, hence the name. This tranquil Butler, TN retreat offers a dock w/ deep water access, 2 kayaks, a canoe, SUP & oasis pad. Stargaze by the fire pit or play ring toss under the twinkle lights. Connected with FIBEROPTIC so that you can telework in paradise!

Enjoy our cozy cabin with hiking, fishing, and relaxing in rural North Carolina. The Appalachian Trail just 2 miles away. Elk River Falls is an easy hike. A full kitchen invites you to cook. Roast s'mores on the fire pit. Dine on the porch or enjoy the patter of rain on the roof, or snow in the winter. Play movies on the blue ray/DVD. Free electric vehicle charging. Your first-floor suite has a Tennessee bedroom, one bath, and another bedroom off the living room separated by privacy curtains. Enjoy a fireplace, a dining room, and three private exterior entries. You also have a large patio with a fire pit, grill, and 3-person hot tub! You also may use the 7-foot square hot tub on the hangar patio if you like. Hike the TN/NC line on our ridge. Hike into the gorge for rock climbing, swimming, and flumes.
