Absolutely loved our 12 nights stay at this stunning Airbnb in Halifax! We came as a group of 10 for my brother’s wedding and the house was beyond perfect. The place is massive, clean, elegant, and super private—ideal for a big family gathering. The ground floor living area became our favorite hangout spot, giving us unforgettable family moments. With 5 spacious bedrooms and a driveway that easily fit over 10 cars, we never felt crowded even when we hosted a dinner with friends. The host was outstanding—very responsive and helpful. We had a minor issue with a shower, and they quickly sent over a video to guide us through, which was incredibly thoughtful. Also, when we reported a small accidental damage, the host graciously waived it. That kind of support is rare. Advice for future guests: If you're planning a trip with family or friends, this is hands-down the best place to stay in Halifax. Gorgeous views, amazing walking paths, and everything you need—restaurants, groceries nearby

This was our second extended stay at Francois's, and just like the first, his hospitality, the location, and the lovely property exceeded our expectations and made us feel right at home. Francois was a wonderful host, quick to communicate and extremely helpful. The home was spotless and well appointed and modern. The property is Serene and peaceful for anyone looking to get away from the city while avoiding a lengthy trip. Would highly recommend and hope to come back one day!

Owl & Otter is a beautiful place to stay. It was easy to find, check in, and find everything we needed. The location was peaceful with a little walk down to the lake. With 13 people staying, we were a little concerns about space. But- we were pleasantly surprised with how big the location was. We spent 3 days 2 nights and not once did anyone feel crammed or like they couldn’t get some space. All over, it was a great stay and we would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a larger place for a stay. Thanks so much Emily!

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

Matthew’s place was the perfect location for us for a sports tournament weekend with our family. It was a relaxing and beautiful place to come back to at the end of the day. My teens enjoyed the video game systems on the big screen in the basement while my husband and I were able to watch a movie upstairs. We were able to make some small meals in the well equipped kitchen. The mattress in the master bedroom was the best I ever slept on. Matthew was very responsive when I had to reach out to him with a question. Thank you!

Very relaxing stay at the lake. Enjoyed the scenic view from the expansive deck and all the windows upstairs and down. Huge tub for a nice soak and the ambient noise of loons out on the water. Would definitely stay here again.

Our large family enjoyed a 5 night stay at the house and it is easily one of the nicest in our memory of AirBnB homes. There was lots of space for our group and the little kids loved exploring outside. We hosted some extra family one evening for dinner and found everything needed in the well appointed kitchen. The beds were very comfortable too! We loved everything about this home. It's little out of the city but that was ok for us. A memorable trip for us!

This is such a wonderful, peaceful little neighbourhood. The park across the street is such a wonderful place to relax, and the proximity to the lake and its beautiful trails is such a bonus. We loved the layout of the house, especially the wonderfully bright dining area. Jennifer was so accommodating to us, and wonderfully responsive. Highly recommended.

Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The views were stunning, and we especially loved relaxing by the fire pit. Matthew and Susan were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, offering to drive us to Peggy’s Cove when they noticed we hadn’t rented a car. Their kindness made our trip even more special. A superb experience from start to finish, we will definitely be visiting again!

We loved the location central to going to Halifax and Mahone Bay and Lundenburg also for going to our next place. Clean neat and tidy great shower all the amenities you need for a short stay!!

Thank you for being such lovely hosts! We immediately felt right at home. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful place to wake up to the snow. Thoughtful amenities, lots of space, comfortable places to eat, drink, read and watch Christmas movies. We didn't want to leave. So much generosity was extended to us due to the storm, and I look forward to returning! We very much were well taken care of.

We drove in from PEI not having been to the area. I’m so glad we took the chance! The pictures do not reflect the absolute beauty of the accommodation and surrounding landscape. The view from our bedroom window was amazing!!! We found Rachael to be the hostess with the mostest :) so very kindhearted! Everything we needed and more with helpful guidance prepared for us. The cleanliness was so refreshing!! Don’t hesitate, nothing to fear! Book it!

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

We had nothing short of an amazing stay at Tee’s place. We had the easiest check in, everything was so clean and looked exactly like the pictures, we enjoyed the hot tub every chance we got, and we loved that he provided us with a speaker!! Tee was so accommodating and easy to communicate with, which we really appreciated. It was the perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle, and a short 5 minute walk to the bus stop.. This was so convenient for us, since we were able to buy a bus pass and take the bus to the water. It was also a 5 minute walk to a bunch of cute shops, restaurants and cafes which is super helpful if you ever just want to go grab a quick coffee or a pastry, or go for dinner close by. We definitely will be back and would recommend Tee’s place to anyone looking to stay in Halifax. Thanks Tee!

Great little cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Quick 10 min drive to downtown for shops, restaurants, and more.

Had an awesome stay. Loved the location and amenities. Accommodations were great and the bed was super comfy. Cabins had everything you needed. Staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely return.

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

Such a beautiful place and our hosts went over and above, loved the tranquility, view, gardens, ducks, and even deer. Can’t say enough about the wonderful food that was prepared and delivered to our door. We were spoiled, and enjoyed meeting and watching a sunset with Kim, Craig and family. Took an impromptu trip to NS for the weekend and lucked out with a vacancy at the Lakeside Lookout cabin. Very quiet, peaceful and serene surroundings made our stay more than enjoyable, topped off with a clean and welcoming cabin. Interested to see all the other things that they will build and do with this property. Will return in the future for sure.

This place really was a “Peace of Nature” although some amenities were shut down because of the colder months approaching it was nothing shy of beautiful. With a lake view from our bed and stunning sky views in the evening. Staff were never far away should we have any issues such as running out of propane. Clean cozy and the perfect shut off from nature. 10/10 recommend
