Herring Cove has much to offer with its hiking, sight seeing, simply sitting at the dock, or visiting our popular Pavia Cafe. It is a 15 minute drive to Downtown. This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away. We have created a charming and super comfortable retreat. We are sure our guests will enjoy the relaxing, peaceful vibe that this hidden little gem offers.

This coastal themed home is located at the end of a private lane on an estuary stemming from the ocean. A short walk to one of Nova Scotia’s most beautiful beaches. (Conrad’s beach) Watch the stars from the covered porch, enclosed sunroom, or bubbling hot and modern hot tub. You’ll fall in love with the sounds of the marine birds frolicking in the water directly a stones throw from any location of the home. Sunsets are spectacular!
