Tucked Away Family Chalet is conveniently located in Carrabassett Valley close to hiking, biking, community pool/playground/tennis courts, Tufulio's restaurant and much more! A great place to enjoy nature, relax, unwind, check out from the hustle and bustle, and spend quality time with the family. Some of the best mountain biking is right out the front door and swimming in the nearby river is not to be missed. In the wintertime, access to the Narrow Gauge ski trail is a short walk away.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Unwind, recharge and reconnect at our beautiful house on Moosehead Lake. A short path takes you down to the lake and a pebble stone beach to swim, use our 4 kayaks, soak in our 4 season outdoor hot tub, or just relax with a good book. Access both the snowmobile and ATV trails from the driveway! Plenty of parking for trailers for all of your powersport toys. The Beaver Cove Marina is a short drive away and provides convenient access to launch your boat for the day.

The perfect getaway spot for a couple or a single traveler. Right in the heart of the Western Maine mountains: 20 minutes from Sugarloaf, minutes from the snowmobile and mountain biking trailheads, kayaking, fishing, etc. If you're into outdoor activity this is the place to be! Living within nature. Moose Mountain Lodge is tucked away in the woods on a sunny lot with great views where wildlife sightings far exceed the occasional car that may pass by on the road. It is not uncommon to wake up to 5-10 deer in the back yard or a moose walking down the road.
