My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was cosy, the autumn weather was perfect and we loved the view of the changing trees from the verandah. Having the distillery right next door was wonderful, making it so easy to stroll over for a drink and to order the delectable pizzas. Roberta was very friendly and helpful and we felt right at home. We had bikes to do the rail trail and there is plenty of room at the cottage to store them, so another plus!

We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

If I could, I’d leave 10 stars instead of 5! This place is absolutely exceptional. The house is beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure maximum comfort for guests. The highlight of my stay was the home-cooked meals offered by the host – delicious, fresh, and made with love, adding a truly unique touch to the experience. The host was incredibly warm and attentive, making sure I felt right at home. The house is located in a peaceful area on the stunning Australian countryside, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This is without a doubt one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

Tumbarumbah is a great location to explore this area, beautiful countryside, great cider and wine near by!! Peter's Airbnb had everything we needed, felt at home and it was very comfortable. Nice surprise to be left a bottle of bubbles and milk - both much appreciated. Thank you

Firstly, my partner and I got engaged at the Airbnb so that might sway our review. However from the moment of arrival you could feel how special this place was. Driving up the driveway to the house you are surrounded by beautiful bushland with a view across the fireplace out to the lake. The house is beautifully furnished and very clean. The kitchen has everything you may need for a nice dinner or a night of cocktails. It was just us so we stayed in the master bedroom, if you love a soft bed then this is ideal. The bed feels like a cloud and has a view out to the trees and lake. The hot tub, fireplace (which is where the proposal happened) and sauna are honestly just the cherry on top. Would have stayed here many more nights if we could have. Could not recommend enough.

We felt very comfortable, Rebecca is very friendly and accommodating. Everything was to our expectations in the house, but back terrace, view are so much better then you see on the photos. And we were extremely lucky - there were horses in the paddock. What a treat! We loved Tumbarumba and Snowy Valleys region. So different, so beautifull and so much to do for active people.

Sabinas home was perfect, we had 4 adults, 1 child and a pup. The yard is 90% secure, we left our pup in a crate when we went to the snow and at night, just to have that piece of mind. The home is perfectly located, within walking distance to the local shop, but also far enough that there is hardly any traffic. The home is great, rooms are spacious, the common areas are all tiled, it is a great place to stay. From here to Selwyn is probably about 45mins or so, of beautiful scenery. A wonderful place to stay, and a really helpful host.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at Touchdown Cottages. Although it rained for our entire stay, we were able to try lots of local eateries, go on scenic drives and spend time at the cottage looking at the kangaroos, horses, sheep, rabbits and birds with our toddler. Highly recommend Gary’s accomodation for anyone staying in Jindabyne.

Amazing stay in moonbah for our family skii trip. Richards house had everything that we needed, in a beautiful picturesque spot, super comfy beds, we would definitely visit again. Perfect place for older teens with the loft retreat, from Moonbah we explored Berridale, Dalgety and Jindabyne close to all amenities and 40 mins to Perisher. Thanks Richard for being a great host and we will miss your little fluffy highland 🐮

Beautiful stay, perfect for our little family to unwind and relax. Such beautiful hospitality & lovely cabin with amazing views. All the homemade goodies that Sally provides were such a special little addition that we absolutely loved! Well done to the lovely hosts, they’ve done a fabulous job making a sweet little retreat for others to enjoy. :)

Our stay at Prudence's was terrific. The beautiful and peaceful surrounds, warm and inviting hosts and cosy, well-equipped guest house led to an excellent stay. It was exactly what we needed with our little dog and we really enjoyed everything. Thank you

Super nice views of the lake, only 7-8 mins into the nearest town and close to Selwyn snowfields (which is why I chose to stay here). Careful driving in/out early/late at night, LOTS of animals on the roads (cool for my passengers!). Was provided a free loaf of super nice sourdough bread upon arrival (which I enjoyed!) The house was warm, and the host offered to restock the wood fire each day (it was winter) and it was lovely coming back to a super warm/toasty place. Beds were comfortable, although one of the 'rooms' is just a corner with a curtain so not super private but for a family it's fine. Host was super responsive and helpful. No wifi, which is described in the listing - but I had 0 Vodafone reception (Telstra was OK) so if this is important to you you should consider this. This did give my kids a chance to experience using a DVD player for the first time in their life! haha (great choice of movies). Would stay here again.

Had an amazing couple of days. Brett was helpful, approachable and easy to talk to. Tumut is a beautiful town and everyone seems super friendly. An hours drive to the Selwyn snow resort along the amazingly beautiful Snowy Mountains highway. A little slice of paradise I would like to experience again and Brett helped with that experience. Very much recommend his cottages.

We really loved this cottage – it gave us a sense of being close to nature, just like camping, but with the comfort of a warm and cozy home. There was plenty of space and privacy, and we saw so many animals during our stay: deer, kangaroos, rabbits, and lots of birds. Our favourite part was the fireplace – it kept us warm and made the whole experience even more special. Thank you Gary, will definitely come back again.

Brett is a great host, is very knowledgeable and helpful. The location is close to town and quiet. A few steps up into the cabin. We would like to stay again when next we visited Tumut. I drifted the river with Micky from Tom’s Outdoors in Cooma. That’s the best way to fish the river given its variable flow rates.

We had a fabulous week at River’s Edge. Our two dachshunds were in doggie paradise. The backyard is huge and they just never tired of chasing balls! The river was glorious and the weather hot. We swam every day or just sat among the rocks and let the water flow over us. As a multi-generational group we found the three bathrooms, king sized beds and "granny flat" provided luxurious options, most appreciated by our teenage granddaughter! We were thrilled to meet the wombat up close! Early in our stay we had thoughts of doing some local tourist excursions but River’s Edge offered so much we never felt like driving somewhere else. Thank you Deb and Dave. We’ll be back!

Spent Easter in Tumbarumba at Alexander Cottage, which was in a great location and very comfortable. Easy to Rail tracks and rivers for gold panning. The Autumn leaves were gorgeous.

Stayed at the Waratah House while working in the area. The house was a perfect base for our work. Comfortable and well equiped kitchen. Host was receptive to our questions and needs. Recommend if you are staying for work or leisure.

Ron & Sarah's place is in the most beautiful location and the viewing decks are perfect for wine & a grazing platter as the afternoon moves into evening. They are lovely hosts and Ron was especially courteous. Our apartment was upstairs & he carried the bags up. The beds were comfy and we slept soundly. Thanks guys.
