Statement period details include parlor doors, 11-foot ceilings, fireplaces, wood paneling, and floor-to-ceiling windows. You'll enjoy twelve foot ceilings with ceiling fans, large windows with working shutters, gorgeous woodwork including a fireplace in every room (including bathrooms) and the best of furnishings and art. You will be given the access code to keys with your reservation. The front porch, laundry room and back yard are shared. The remainder is private. High ceilings with intricate plaster detail in a home that sits right in front of the trolley stop. You will love sitting on the amazing porch and just people watch, waving to passengers on the streetcar. A great experience to be right there on the Avenue under the 250 year old oak trees. You can take our self guided walking tour through the Garden District and see one home after another built in 1800's, with names of architect (if known), year built and who lived there.
