Secluded Cabin on the Waterfront!

Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Our family built this cabin over 25 years ago — Mosaskjól. A small, cozy, down-to-earth cabin just outside Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A quiet retreat with a small kitchen, heating, and Wi-Fi. Full of charm — perfect for those who love nature, peace and quiet. Short walk to Hæðargarðsvatn lake and scenic views. Close to pool, grocery store, and restaurants. Great base for exploring South Iceland — 1 hr to Skaftafell, 1.5 hrs to Jökulsárlón, and near Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, Kirkjugólf, and more.

Relax and recharge after a day full of adventures in the South Coast of Iceland. 10 - 15 minutes west from Vík town and located directly off Road 1, this is a perfect place for a stop over on your journey in Iceland. - 10 mins drive to both Dyrholaey Penninsula overlooking the beach & possibility of Puffin spotting in the summer. - 10 mins to Reysnifjara beach, the most famous black beaches in South Iceland. - 2 hours from Reykjavík - 2.5 hrs from Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon.

Hólaskjól Cabin 2 / Eldgjá highlandcenter.

Hólaskjól is located in the Highland of Iceland. If you arrive from the south, the last 30 km are on a F road, but with no river crossings. If you arrive from the north you have river crossing and need a 4x4 jeep. It is a peaceful and quiet place with beautiful surroundings. There is just a five minute walk up the lavafield to a beautifull waterfall. There are excellent hiking trails in the area. Eldgjá is 7 Km away, Landmannalaugar is 40 km away and so is Langisjór as well.

Mosi Hut

Escape to a small, cozy cabin nestled among pseudo craters near Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Ideal for two adults and it is possible to add an extra bed for one child. , it features a double bed a well-organized open studio space, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Relax on the private terrace or explore the nearby hiking trails. Great restaurants are nearby, and the location is perfect for visiting southeast Iceland's highlights, most within 1,5 hour drive.

Our perfect little getaway.

A beautiful very private cabin just about 1 Km. from the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A perfect location to overnight on your way to the glacier lagoon or Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. Our porch gives you a unique view of two glaciers Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. The view of northern lights is amazing from the porch in the winter time. The moss covered lava surroundings are rich with berries and birdlife in the summer time.

"Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

This brand new and cozy cottage is located between Vík and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is 39m2 with sleeping arrangements for up to 4 guests. There is 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a double sleeping sofa in the living room. There is equipped kitchenette as well as a bathroom with a shower.
