Secluded Cabin on the Waterfront!

Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Full of charm — perfect for those who love nature, peace and quiet. Short walk to Hæðargarðsvatn lake and scenic views. Close to pool, grocery store, and restaurants. Great base for exploring South Iceland — 1 hr to Skaftafell, 1.5 hrs to Jökulsárlón, and near Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, Kirkjugólf, and more.

Welcome to our warm, brand-new 56 m² cottage between Vík and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Located next to the farm Snæbýli 1, the last farm before the scenic F210 mountain road, it offers peace, privacy, and breathtaking mountain views. The cottage features two bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bright open-plan living area with large panoramic windows. Just 15 km from the Ring Road, it's the perfect South Iceland getaway.

Hólaskjól Cabin 3 / Eldgjá highlandcenter

Hólaskjól is located in Lambskarðshólar next to road F208 to Landmannalaugar. It is in an old lavafield from Eldgjá. It is a peaceful and quiet place with beautiful surroundings. There is just a five minute walk up the lavafield to an waterfall in Syðri-Ófæra that we call Huldufoss. The lavafield provides a good cover for Hólaskjól so there is almost never much wind there. There are excellent hiking trails in the area and up to Eldgjá.

A beautiful very private cabin just about 1 Km. from the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A perfect location to overnight on your way to the glacier lagoon or Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. Our porch gives you a unique view of two glaciers Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. The view of northern lights is amazing from the porch in the winter time. The moss covered lava surroundings are rich with berries and birdlife in the summer time.
