Nearby is the charming historic town of Clayton (est. 1819); home to the flagship Wander outdoor store, amazing food spots (Wood-fired pizza, Cuban, Mexican, Italian, American, etc.) & lovely shops. Rent a boat 3 miles away at Anchorage Marina on Lake Burton and enjoy the restaurants in Clayton. The space: Clean and spacious. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

This gorgeous 2 bedroom 2 bath hillside mtn cabin is situated just east of Hiawassee. The area has 22 local wineries, 5 brew houses and distilleries, many only minutes away. The cabin is fully turnkey with a hot tub, grill, firepit, fireplace, kitchen and more. Both bedrooms are on the second floor. One full bathroom on each floor. Our quiet apartment with mountain views on Lake Chatuge. You have access to kayaks and even a deep water dock if you have a boat. We are located near lots of hiking trails, wonderful shops and restaurants and near the John C. Campbell Folk School. Our place is dog friendly and a great place to enjoy and explore the area.
