Nature’s & Pilgrims’ Rest at Red Bluff River Haven

A unique river retreat for relaxing and viewing wildlife. We are minutes from extensive trails and about an hour from Lassen Park. Our house has fragile and antique components and is not suited for pets, groups or children. If you are ok with quirky, imperfect, au natural and "wild" (possibility of snakes and spiders) we have your place! With windows along most of the east side, you will almost always have a view of the Sacramento River. This is not a cookie cutter house—please read listing.

Mt Lassen & The Great Outdoors

As you turn onto Thatcher Mill you'll feel the comfort of this mountain retreat. Your tranquil drives ends at this 12 year old home that we call our cabin. It's well built and sits off the road a bit and invites you to relax and enjoy what the Lake McCumber /Mt Lassen community has to offer. The sounds of silence radiates through the trees and gives that sense of calm we all wish for in our daily lives. Once inside you find it a comfortable stay. Backyard is awesome! Stay another day!

Lincoln's Cottage

Charm, Character, Beauty, Peace & Solitude! Our cottage is nestled in a quaint valley at the base of Mt. Lassen. The home is on a 6 acres bustling with wildlife. Just a short walk from the front door is a spring-fed pond, which makes a great background for sunset watching. This home is professionally styled to make you feel taken care of, a bit spoiled, and very comfortable. The natural light pours in from the open windows making this spot a cozy getaway, perfect for rest and inspiration.

Our charming cabin is nestled on a private road with breathtaking ridge views, just 20 minutes away from the Lassen Volcanic National Park. Immerse yourself in nature as you hike to Lassen Peak, Bumpass Hell, and Cinder Cone. With less than an hour drive you can witness the beauty of Burney Falls or fish at Hat Creek. In the winter, enjoy the snow play at Eskimo Hill or strap on your snowshoes and explore the winter landscapes around Manzanita Lake. Gas/grocery are only a few mins drive.

Open, clean two-bedroom, two-bath, home with library in a rural, quiet forested neighborhood. The Haven is a private home on a gravel driveway just 10 minutes from the north entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park. Nearby are Hat Creek, Lake McCumber, Manzanita Lake, Subway Cave, and Burney Falls. The Haven backs up to private forest land and you'll be visited by deer, turkeys, squirrel, and other wildlife. The Haven is sure to provide the perfect place for quiet retreat and enjoyment.

Inspired by Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry to his friends), it features the rich tones of Meduseld and the wood and stone of Fanghorn forest. Make sure to check out all four hobbit holes!

The Shire at Poderosa

Enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled in the Pines this charming little cottage is the perfect place for a peaceful stay. This is an ideal spot to relax. Located near Lassen National Park, close to scenic lakes, local wineries and world class fly fishing spots. Detached Shop has an apartment above that the owners live in so if you have any needs or questions someone is available. The owners have a friendly dog that stays with them and is not allowed to run the property freely.

In the forest near Lassen Volcanic National Park, you'll enjoy the mountain views! Deer, wild turkeys, and squirrels provide endless entertainment. In the summer you'll enjoy relaxing on the porch. Winters will find you enjoying sitting by the fire taking in the view from our large picture-perfect windows.
