Emica’s place felt like a home away from home the moment we arrived. The space is beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable and we truly had a wonderful stay. Emica is a fantastic host, offering thoughtful recommendations and local tips that really enriched our experience. She made us feel so welcome, and we’re grateful for her warm hospitality. Would absolutely love to return!

The Home Stay

Dvonne was there to welcome when we arrive. He was very friendly and helpful. After ensuring a smooth checkin he showed us the room and explained about water and appliances. We had to leave early so we couldn't connect but overall the places it really good (like a studio apartment) and cozy.

This place is undoubtedly a 5/5—excellent in every aspect. From the location to the sparkling clean and neatly kept house, to the privacy—it has everything you could ask for. And the best part is the host, Larisha. Every guest would want a host like her: kind, humble, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Simply the best. We had an amazing experience renting Navaneet’s Thar Overlander for our camping trip. Navaneet was incredibly helpful throughout, assisting us in planning our itinerary and ensuring everything went smoothly. The Thar was in excellent condition, powerful, and reliable. The rooftop tent was quick and easy to set up and pack away, making the entire journey hassle-free. Overall, it was a unique and adventurous experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable overlanding trip ♥️

Three days went like a dream! The best host in the cabin was definitely Leo, the dog. It seemed like we were his family. The cabin is just like a beautiful painting, and so do the surrounding pine forest and the hills. It’s cozy, comfortable, soul healing. The evenings we spent sitting near the fireplace will remain in our fond memories forever. Will definitely try to visit the cabin again and again in the coming years. Much love to Leo, we miss you, baby doggo ❤️

The property is nestled in a peaceful location with a beautiful view of a green hillock right in front. It is well-maintained, and the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped—perfect for those who plan to cook during their stay. Julie and Sagar were extremely helpful and prompt in their responses. Do note that the property is located about 45 minutes to an hour from Shillong city, so shopping and dining options nearby are limited. It's best to plan ahead accordingly.

Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb hosted by Mr. Anshul was nothing short of fantastic! The property is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a serene and peaceful escape from the hustle of city life. The location is easily accessible by road, making the journey hassle-free. What truly sets this place apart is the warm hospitality. Both Mr. Anshul and the caretakers were extremely polite, friendly, and supportive, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The space itself is perfect for a large group of friends or family, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. We had an amazing stay at Ian's Airbnb in Upper Shillong! The place is absolutely beautiful, nestled in a serene location with breathtaking views. The house itself is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. A special mention goes to the caretaker, Edwin. He was incredibly hospitable, always available to assist with anything we needed, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. His local tips and warm personality truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend Ian's place to anyone visiting Shillong. It's a perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and excellent hospitality. 5 stars!

Martina is no ordinary women..a woman with tons of experience from 5star hotels and airline. very friendly helpful host with homely touch.. she also invited us for khasi dinner. her mother and sister also help her and are very much helpful. if you have your own transportation this is the best value for money in Shillong. Martina was the best host anyone can ask for and the place was just perfect for a holiday to experience the beauty of Shillong away from city hustle. They made my stay so comfortable and the place was exactly as promised!!! Best choice of stay and friendship in all of Shillong!!!

Beautiful property with a garden and open place for the kids. The house was cosy and comfortable for 9 of us. Fireplace was a big plus. The caretaker was kind and friendly, breakfast and dinner we had at the homestay. Child friendly. Overall, we had a lovely time. Would recommend it to friends and family.

Ken&Twill Guest House

We stayed for 10 days at the Ken and Twills guest house.. we couldn’t have expected a better stay in Shillong, the place is spacious, the architecture is beautiful with a lot of outdoor space surrounded by scenic pines. Our rooms were equipped with heaters and hot water was available 24/7. The caretakers, especially Ashang, were extremely helpful and have a very welcoming attitude.. we were made to feel at home in a place which was new for us. We were guided by them in Shillong with relevant tips. We would definitely recommend Ainame’s guesthouse and will surely visit again.

Great host, very sweet and helpful just a call away. The house was good and clean for my family of 4 and all facilities like geyser, Wi-Fi and heater were also available. Good place for this price, try it out.
