Bain’s Beach cosy central retreat overlooks the harbour and natural urban beach in the historical and picturesque ‘sooth end’ of the quiet, quaint area of old Lerwick. Perfect for wild swimming with amazing sea-views of sea-going vessels, wildlife, seabirds, seals and occasional orcas! Close to high street shops, eateries, cinema, museum and coastal walks. This traditional stone croft house was fully renovated & extended in 2015. It now has a light, modern interior, holding on to some traditional features. 3 bedrooms are light and in neutral colours. The open plan living kitchen area boasts a vaulted ceiling and country cottage style kitchen, with walk in larder cupboard. Relax in the evening in front of a roaring fire, or explore the beach which is just a 2 minute walk away! A great location to explore Yell, Unst, Fetlar & the north of Shetland.

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Easy walking distance to Tesco and the Clickimin Leisure Complex, with Lerwick town centre only 1.25 miles away. There's a well equipped kitchen with a pully for drying clothes and also a good size living room. Mavine Cottage is a great base from which to explore all Shetland has to offer.
