We stayed here for a girls weekend, and the house was perfect for 5 girls. Beds were comfy, 2 bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen and outside area was great. Walking distance to town which was so convenient. Definitely recommend!

Kerrie and Tony were fabulous! Communicating with us before check in and gave us plenty of recommendations. On arrive, we had a cute letter and a basket full of goodies. Was incredibly flexible with checking in early and checking out late. Will definitely be back again!

How’s the serenity? Says it all. Not only an Aussie icon movie, the house lives up to it. The Doon has been a favourite destination for decades and the Castle has been a part of it. The lake is always spectacular whether it be sunrise or sunset, on a wooden deck, with a beer, some music. Absolute perfection !! The Doon Hotel will always be a favourite!! Thank you. Suffer in your jocks! We’ll be back!!

A very nice stay, would highly recommend. Great for price, very clean, spacious and all amenities were good. Would stay again if in Shepperton. Easy check in and Kristine was very responsive. No issues.

Fabulous place to get away and unwind. Very private. Everything as described by previous reviews was very accurate and the response from the hosts Jamie and Christine was superb. Always prompt, friendly and clear. Easy to find. Highly recommended on all fronts. Definitely worth going to. Secluded, lots of wild life and very comfortable.

The stay was everything we needed. Close to town within walking distance. Accompanied our large family. Was a lovely cozy home.

We’ve stayed here several times now and will definitely be back again. The house is an ideal base for us to visit our family and friends. We would also recommend it to anyone wanting to explore what’s on offer around the Goulburn Valley area a lovely comfortable home with everything you need. Also being dog friendly is a bonus for us and anyone else wanting to bring their doggies on holiday. Thanks Helen for being a super host and always responding quickly to any messages.

Wow!! What a fabulous home. The house was very clean. Lots of space for everyone. We particularly liked the heated pool and fire pit. It had everything you need and had a homely feel to it. Laura was fantastic to deal with. We would definitely stay again.

Chris is an amazing host, very communicative and had setup the house like I was family. The property is amazing and we made full use of the pool and hot tub. The scenery is stunning! The fireplace was exactly what we needed and we didn't want to leave. Will definitely be coming back!

Belinda's place was perfect for us. The location is fantastic for a walk along the boardwalk and into town. The local knowledge was great.Belinda was very quick to respond to any requests. We really had a fantastic time.

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The space was gorgeously decorated and had such a calm, welcoming feel. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, with more than enough plates, cutlery and everything we needed for our stay. They even had great wine glasses (such a treat)! Each room had its own air conditioner, which made it really comfortable throughout the house. The outdoor area/pool was great, even though the water was a little too cold for the kids and I. The location was also spot-on, close to everything we needed, making it super convenient. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed place to stay.

Everything about Kristy’s place was as good if not better than we expected. From the moment that we made the reservation to the time that we checked out everything was wonderful!! The instructions for our late arrival were easy to follow and the cabin was neat, clean and exactly what we were hoping for after a long late night drive together there. I highly recommend staying at Kristy’s place and will definitely go back whenever we are driving through the area!!

We had an unforgettable stay at Noonanmeena, a stunning passive house set on 20 picturesque acres in Redesdale. The property is beautifully situated, backing onto the Coliban River, with easy access to Redesdale town center, just a short drive away. It's also conveniently located—only 25 minutes from Heathcote and 20 minutes from Lake Eppalock. The house itself is fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for families. Whether we were relaxing on the deck or taking a dip in the pool, watching the sunset was an absolute highlight. John was an exceptional host—welcoming, accommodating, and great to communicate with. Thank you for making our long weekend truly special—we can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved ‘The Vines’ & Sara the fabulous host. The lovely modern, spacious, comfortable house with all the accessories you need and supplied condiments made our stay perfect. The real winner for us though was the lovely pool in the backyard. The kids thought it was wonderful!! And it made our stay very relaxing. Sara presented the house very well. She was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We loved our stay and would love to come back again one day.

Wonderful property. Clearly a family home in its previous life, feel very at home as it has personal touches unlike most holiday rentals. House itself is quite big and heaps of space for two families if needed. We were only 4 adults and an infant and felt miles from one another. Beds are super comfy and linen decent quality which is another surprise for a holiday rental. Pool area is lovely and the wisteria really adds to it. Main garden could be better utilised. Dog friendly as well so the whole family could go along. Tad pricey, 1200 for our group for two nights and the 500 deposit outside of Air BnB is a bit unusual, but the house is very well maintained and nicely furnished. Otherwise the only issue is the lack of dishwasher and dish rack. We're fine to clean and dry by hand as there was only '4.5' of us, but had to stack everything in one sink. Might be an issue for larger groups.

Great place to book for a little off the grid getaway. Despite having a little hotter weather, we were provided with what we needed and a super peaceful place to relax!

Amazing old homestead, beautiful gardens with lovely proportioned rooms. Close to wineries and exploring the region. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend away.

We booked all 4 cabins as a group getaway. Sunset Villas did not dissapoint, the space was peaceful and relaxing and Neeska was the most amazing host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at country comfort over the Easter weekend! The photos didn’t do this place justice! Gail was excellent to deal with and her home was gorgeous. We felt right at home. The welcome Easter eggs were a really generous and thoughtful touch. You really only have to bring yourself when you come to country comfort! All the essentials were provided plus nice little extra’s! The atmosphere Gail has created in this space is just beautiful!
