We would definitely come back here again! You can tell that Michelle puts a lot of thought into caring for her guests. We traveled with our 5 year old who loved finding all of the kids toys, coloring books, etc. to play with. We always appreciate staying somewhere kid-friendly and this place hits it out of the park. Now that I have stayed at Jack's home @ 5 times, I can easily verify that every moment spent in that home is magical - steps away from a walk on the beach, the methodical waves lapping on the shoreline, and the majestic sunrises reflecting on the water combine to provide a therapeutic sensory experience that delivers 24 hours each day. If that isn't enough, there are fabulous coffee shops, restaurants, and bars that you can walk to as well as many others a short drive away. No - Jack does not pay me to write these reviews ... the reviews write themselves. Enjoy!

This is a quirky but very charming guest house. It provided me a comfortable, quiet place to work while my husband participated in an event at Road America 5 minutes away. The billiards and air hockey tables were a fun and unique plus to the stay. My only critique would be that the queen mattress was a little too firm for me. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at SurfDaze! The pictures don’t do it justice—this is a truly stunning beachfront property on Lake Michigan. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally comfortable. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the breathtaking views made our trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

Felt like we were staying at a family members home. Very cozy and peaceful setting. We brought our dogs and they loved the large and fenced backyard. Plenty of space in the large bedrooms and living room. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook anything you wanted. Host provided thoughtful treats for the dogs, and beverages and coffee. Even had prepared ice balls for beverages that was a nice touch. We loved our stay, worked great for our needs and would return again in the future if needed.

We had a great stay at The Orchard House Retreat. The property is as described, looks like the pictures and had everything we needed. The kids especially loved all the toys and books! The house is 5 min to the State Park beach and 10 min from downtown. We loved having the backyard, the furniture was well taken care of and the fire pit was perfect for s’mores. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating— with everything labeled around the home. It’s also a great layout for bigger families /groups with 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 on the main floor and 1 in the basement.

My wife and I were celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary- Jewel made it so special for us! And her place? WOW! We’ve stayed in AirBnb’s from Olympia to Siesta Key, from Zagreb to Dubrovnik- and Jewel’s place and her hospitality outshines them all! Beautiful accommodations, spotless, every possible provision, comfortable and supportive bed, - it was simply heavenly!!! Thanks to Jewel!!!

What a gem! I truly think this property is highly undervalued. The grounds alone are magnificent. Such a gorgeous historic home and peaceful neighborhood. It felt private and secluded yet close to everything that we needed to get to and very walkable safe area. I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb and hope to stay there again on future trips! Thank you to our wonderful Host, Julie, who was responsive, kind, and very accommodating of us.

Had a great stay! Was very comfortable and it was nice to have shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. Super clean place and wonderful communication.

I couldn't have found a more appropriate spot for this particular stay. The three bedrooms -- all outfitted with king-sized beds -- provided plentiful space for the family and friends I provided lodging for during the time before, during and after my beloved stepmother's funeral. It meant so much to spend this 23-day period in a comfortable spot where the maximum number of guests coincided with my requirements. This older home is lovingly outfitted with so many touches to make it cozy and welcoming...just what we needed.

Great stay on Elkhart Lake! Located in a central location, you can walk into town for dinner and also great lake amenities right on site. We rented a boat for the day and enjoyed the pool and beach access. We also greatly appreciate Pam being one of the few places we found that is dog friendly!

Was exactly like the post said. The music wasn't too loud, except in the front bedroom, but they got quieter at about midnight. Better than what you'd expect staying above a bar with live music. great place, would 100% stay again if given the chance.

Great host!! Great location!! Great property!! We came in town for a golf trip and this property was a perfect location and comfortable. Nice to start each morning with a quick walk to the beach and watch the sun rise over the lake. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Danielle had a perfect place for us to stay long-term. The location is great: there are a variety of restaurants nearby, a wonderful coffee shop, the ice cream parlor opened for the season, Blue Harbour is right next door, and of course Lake Michigan. There is easy access to the beach area, including enough beach to enjoy. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive. If we had any questions or concerns, they responded immediately. When we needed to extend our stay, they worked with us to be able to do that. Fantastic hosts! The decor is warm and friendly. It definitely felt welcoming and comfortable. The only issue was with the drainage in the tubs (a bit slow), but they were addressing that, and hopefully it will be resolved. We would definitely recommend staying with Danielle!

We really appreciate how close the beach was. John’s proactive communication with us was top notch. We did not have to worry about our stay. We would definitely stay there again. Our kids did not want to leave the beach. Being on the ground floor is a huge advantage. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your unit.
