Large windows look out into the peaceful forest and sliding glass doors lead to a deck ideal for grilling during the day and star gazing at night. The property allows access (for a fee) to all Tahoe Donner amenities including pools, hot tubs, saunas, gym and beach. The cozy cabin is 10 minutes from downtown Truckee and in close proximity to Donner Lake, Northstar, Palisades & Sugar Bowl.

Coziest Cabin in the Woods

A great cabin for a couple (or two couples) or small family, with easy access to great hiking and mountain biking trails in the summer. In the winter, there is a sledding hill and miles of snowshoe trails out the back door. Four ski resorts are within ten minutes' drive. The deck is the perfect place to watch the bountiful stars in the clear mountain air any time of year. Please read the notes about winter conditions, especially the driveway, very carefully.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will be greeted with beauty and fantastic views nestled among giant Ponderosa Pines, a wide variety of wildlife and birds galore. A step back into history. Condo located inside of an old Historic Railroad building converted into beautiful cozy condominiums. Very close drive to Bay Area (3 hours) yet within close proximity of Reno, Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. 5 minute walk to Soda Springs Ski Resort (ski-in/ski-out)! In summer, great hiking and lakes all close by. Insanely fast wifi (400mb download, 40mb upload). Please see note about train close by and possible noise.
