This was such a lovely home! Amie- Jane was very welcoming and provided a delightful breakfast. Her dog was very welcoming too, beautiful brown and white collie type, always up for a tummy scratch. The dog made us feel like we were right at home, so friendly! lovely and private cottage, beautiful big trees surrounding and waking up to the sounds of birds, sheep and being in a rural area was so peaceful. just the get away you need! highly recommend, thank you for having us Auntie-Jane.

Thanks for sharing your wee spot with us. Super peaceful. Loved the outdoor bath and logburner. The beds were very comfy too and warm duvets snd blankets! Lincoln and Leeston very close for a coffee or dinner. Drove to Taumutu.....wild and wonderful beach for walking. Amazing colours.

Such a gorgeous spot. Throughly enjoyed our stay, if peace and quiet is what you're after then t his location is perfect. Fully fenced section so perfect for dogs. Comes with a cheeky wee Weka family and a cute friendly fantail. Home now feeling recharged and we will definitely return. Many thanks. M & T Enright

My girlfriend and I stopped here as it was a "halfway" point to meet. Cass is just stunning. The cabin DOES HAVE A HEATER. and with the all day sun it was so toasty when we walked inside. My girlfriend arrived before I did and she was down at "Barry's Bar" meeting with Barry himself and some of the other campers that weekend. We shared a brew, some yarns and it was a lovely small village vibe. the cabin was cosy and perfect for two people. mod coms. beautiful walks around. The train didn't bother us at all. the views were stunning. this is a new favourite place of ours to stay. thank you Barry

if you are travelling to Christchurch with a small group then this place is for you. Great house, good size bedrooms ,great kitchen and Lounge, plenty of space. The house has everything you need for a great stay. The house is set in lovely gardens and has a terrific deck space. Hosts are great and very helpful, really recommend this place.

Gorgeous Riverfront House in CHCH

Justina's place is great and she is really nice. I especially liked the room because it has its own bathroom and I didn't have to share it with the other people. The location is also good, close to UC, a bus stop and shopping malls.

Simis Mama hat mich und meinen Mann beherbergt. Sie war sehr herzlich und freundlich zu uns. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen! Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre uns die Küchenausstattung zu wenig.

Delwyn and Jason gave us such a warm welcome we felt at home straight away. They were most accommodating hosts and we had lots of interesting conversations with them. There were lots of thoughtful touches, it was a real home from home. The property was very peaceful with lovely views and we found it a good base for visiting Christchurch, Akorora and Lyttelton.

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay than at Tara-Jayne's. The house and grounds themselves are outstanding and the guest wing is wonderful. Everything has been thought of with your comfort in mind. If you want a quiet, stylish, interesting place to stay near Christchurch then this is the place for you! Thank you Tara-Jayne and Carl for making us feel most welcome.
