The main cabin has 672 sq ft of finished living space with bedroom (queen bed), bathroom, basic kitchen, great room (queen sleeper sofa), and screened porch. There is an additional rustic bunkhouse with two twin beds. This space is ideal for a couple or adventurous family who enjoys swimming, canoeing, hiking, fishing, or sitting on the screened porch with a good book and pine forest backdrop. The space offers solar power that will power all lights, fans as well as charge devices. There is a battery operated pump that gives you potable water out of the sink. A porta potty is on property.

We have the fortune of bald eagles in several tall pines. Turtles sunning on doting rocks and lily pads in bloom greet us each day. It is a natural water landscape.

Look out onto the always-changing Ossipee River from this cute little log cabin. Use our tandem kayak, or fish and swim from our dock. In the winter months, ride your snowmobile right from the driveway, take a brewery tour in Portland, head to the White Mountains, or just watch the river go by. Cornish, Maine is just 12 minutes away and has plenty of dining and shopping opportunities.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our Log Cabin is located in the woods on the Salmon Falls River, right next door to our family run farm. The property is located half in Sanbornville NH and half in Acton Maine. There is so much to do on the property and throughout the Lakes Region. Our Log Cabin is completely off grid, which runs fully off solar and Wi-Fi.
