We really enjoyed our time in Hilo. Richard's house was a great space for our family. Definitely a chill, summer house vibe. It had everything we needed, and the view out the picture windows was stunning. We loved the huge tree in the front yard. We spent a lot of time at Richardson Beach. Snorkeling was really great. We would love to return.

Suzy's home was perfect for our annual ohana girls' trip to Hawaii Island. We especially loved the spacious lanai from sipping coffee, listening to the birds in the morning to evening dinner made enchanting by the decorative lighting.

This property truly exceeded all of our expectations. The owners and the property manager were incredibly friendly and responsive, providing us with everything we needed to ensure our stay was seamless. From the luxurious amenities to the stunning surroundings, it was an experience we’ll never forget. Puna Rainforest Retreat Hotspring: Purple Passion

This is the place to stay if you want to feel more like a local and less like a tourist. Absolutely beautiful location, wonderful host and close to great restaurants in Pahoa. The property itself also had beautiful trails to walk with steam vents on site, truly a tropical paradise. Jacqueline was absolutely wonderful and her pup was great at public relations! Will definitely come back if we get a chance!

Ocean View Suites A: Kehena Black Sand Beach!

Scott’s place is a peaceful retreat just steps from the beach, with stunning ocean views right from the balcony. The surrounding area is beautifully natural and serene—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. While it’s a bit removed from restaurants and services, having a rental car makes exploring the area easy and convenient. Inside, the apartment is exceptionally well organized—everything is thoughtfully arranged, easy to find, and feels welcoming. Overall, a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended! – Terry

Hilo Paradise Home that has AC

We felt like home. Adrianne was proactive in her communication and quick to respond. There were notes inside the house to ensure the guest uses the facilities correctly, I am ok with it. All the items shown in photos matches with what we got. It would be good, if part of the garage will be allowed to use by the guest. If I get a change, we will book it again and will recommend to friends.

Volcano Hidden Cottage/Hot Tub

We are so happy that we chose Volcano Hidden Cottage for our home while we explored Volcanoes National Park! The cottage is gorgeous, and the setting is idyllic- completely private and quiet. The only sounds we heard were from the wildlife, who lulled us to sleep each night. We enjoyed spending time out on the large deck, surrounded by lush greenery. The cottage is very comfortable, and we slept so well! We feel lucky to have been able to stay at such a wonderful place that is just minutes from the park entrance. Thank you, Brenda!

Mahalo for everything. I felt at home with Delia & Kim from the very beginning. Their loving nature and the effort they put into everything is extraordinary. I'll never forget the Big Island for several reasons, and staying with Delia and her family is definitely one of them. The location is worth its weight in gold for anyone seeking peace and quiet. Really great to stay at Joy and Brandon’s Jungle House on the Big Island. Lots of space and bedrooms for a big family gathering and lots to do in the area around Hilo, the volcano park and the black sand beach. We had a great Christmas adventure there and were even able to cook up a turkey and ham with all the fixings with the amenities provided! We had a few issues with supplies and laundry but Joy and Brandon took care of everything quickly and had good advice about what to do right away. I would definitely go back and grateful for the great time my family had together and Joy and Brandon’s hospitality.

If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay, it’s here at Kapoho’s Paradise! - totally off-grid and hidden away! Great layout with 3 bedroom en suites downstairs with sliding doors to the outside/pool area. The living, dining, kitchen, half bath and large lanai overlooking the pool and beautiful landscaped yard complete the upstairs. Very spacious and comfortable!! Wayne’s a great host. Very responsive and helpful when needed. Thanks Wayne for sharing Kapoho’s Paradise with us!

Rustic & Elegant Cedarwood Cabin

Diane's cabin was a very peaceful place to stay. She was very responsive and flexible. Diane was even kind enough to assist me in coordinating to receive time-sensitive mail while staying at her cabin. The place was clean and organized. You can tell that much thought was put into the layout and where things were placed/organized around the cabin. I would definitely stay at Diane's cabin again.

Peaceful Kehena Beach Treehouse Villa w/ Star Deck

The home is on a beautiful and quiet area of Pahoa. It was comfortable and cozy and had all the amenities we needed, the outdoor deck and the star deck was our favorite part!! The only thing that was a little bothersome was the fact that we had to walk outside of the first floor and around to go up to the 2nd floor, as they are not connected. I think it’s a great house for a family or two that want some privacy but maybe not so much for a group of friends who constantly want be aroundeach other. Would stay here again, the peace was worth it!

We loved Autumn's jungle cottages and would recommend her place. Great for small groups with separate accommodations. Beautiful outdoor gathering bbq area and every kind of plants. highly recommend

It’s a wonderful stay for our family with four kids. Lisa is very thoughtful. There are EVERYthing needed for a comfortable stay in big island. The volcano national park is not far ,50 minutes drive . The garden is beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the lovely nature sounds from the birds and rain and frogs ( maybe )
