The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Enjoy a quiet, relaxing week in the north woods of Hayward, WI! Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps six comfortably (2 queen beds and a futon). Cabin is two levels and 1500 square ft. The cabin is located on the Namekagon River with direct access to Hayward Lake and the public boat launch just a few hundred feet away. You really get the best of both worlds here as the cabin is tucked away in a private, wooded area but is also walking distance to downtown Hayward and other attractions!!

Inside we have all the comforts of home, TV, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice-maker, fireplace (gas),there is also a queen size sofa bed in the living room. Sunset Apartment" has a north woods modern feel with large Sunny windows facing the lake. Enjoy sunset apartment stay on beautiful Callahan Lake with excellent fishing, amazing sunsets. Pets are very welcome,$15 per day per pet fee.

Book a wonderful vacation Up North! Large, welcoming chalet is perched on a wooded hillside overlooking Lake Chetac. Stunning lake views, abundant wildlife & great fishing. Fish house w/water (warm months), electricity, counter, double sink, a freezer and propane heat. Sandy lake bottom at shoreline. Private dock has room for 2 boats. Stay in one of the oldest structures in Sawyer County with private Lake Hayward frontage in your front yard and the Birkie trail, atv and snowmobile trails in the backyard! You can hike, bike, ski, or ride the trails directly from our yard. Plenty of parking-driveway is a loop. Cabin was completely renovated top to bottom in spring of 2021. Enjoy serenity and country feel but also close proximity to Hayward. (2 miles to main street)
