Located in the heart of the Sandhills, Kinkaider Brewing Company is a farm craft brewery with a newly finished attached bungalow, creating the utmost brewery experience. You can sample, dine and enjoy to your heart's delight and then wander a few steps to your home away from home. This is the perfect weekend getaway for intimate or larger gatherings. This 1500 square foot space sleeps 6-8 comfortably, with a spacious living area great for socializing, and a walk-in shower complete with stocked BEER FRIDGE!!

We offer amenities such as coffee, an electric grill, 36” black stone griddle, deck, patio, fire pit and more. This 4 bedroom 2 bath home provides one of the most beautiful views in Wheeler County!

Screaming Eagle Ranch

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination! Come stay in our beautiful, new,“Bunkhouse”. She boasts sleeping accommodations for 8 people, a complete full kitchen, a gas fireplace in the Great Room, and a washer and dryer in the bathroom. In addition you may bring your horse and feed to our corral. For an additional $25 you may ride the trails on our back 400. We also have a beautiful swim spa on the premises for your use. We are a little out of town…but worth it!

The Nest

The Nest is an upstairs mini apartment in a building on a working bison ranch. The decor is birds, flowers, nature. The windows look out over the pastures. The bathroom features a shower and small clothes washer. The kitchenette area includes hot drink dispenser, microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge. A cot and portable crib are available on request. Breakfast snacks and coffee are included in the room rate. Covid concerns: you will be the only occupants in the building overnight.

Outdoor enthusiasts, friends, and families, we invite you to enjoy your next Sandhills trip with a stay at the Cedar Creek Cabin. Our two bedroom, one bath, cabin sleeps eight. Located on a large lot to accommodate outdoor activities, including a fire pit. The park, Nebraska's Big Rodeo, and the town square (where there several dining options) are all within walking distance. The area's main attraction Calamus Reservoir is a short 7 mile drive, offering fun for the entire family.

Charming home located a block from downtown Loup City. Walking distance a café, grocery store, hardware store, bowling alley, masseuse, antique shops, and local bars. Features 2 bedrooms, accommodating up to 7 guests. Perfect for a weekend getaway, spending time in town with family, or near recreational opportunities at Bowman’s Lake or Sherman Reservoir! Wagner Cabin North

Enjoy a relaxing stay with family and friends at the Wagner Cabins, a family-owned small working ranch in the secluded Calamus, Nebraska area. Our cabins are nestled along the North Loup River and just minutes from the Calamus Reservoir. A large pond with excellent fishing is just a stone’s throw from the cabin porches. The Wagner Cabins are two adjoining cabins that can, in total, sleep 13 people. If interested contact the host to reserve both North and South together.

Our house is your house! Join us as we transform Shirley's into a fun escape! Watch wildlife in the fields, amazing sunsets and take a moment to enjoy the fresh air! We are a working farm off of Highway 91, please be mindful of active tractors in the fields, and enjoy the farm scene from the patio. Shirley was a sweet neighbor to me and it is our privilege to restore her house to its finest glory so you can enjoy it with your family too! We can't wait to meet you all!

We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and fishing. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!
