This was an absolutely perfect stay! Even though this is not right in the centre of Santa Maria, it's only a 10 minute (or less) walk away from everything which made it super convenient. The beautiful beach right on your doorstep is also such a plus. The hosts were very kind, friendly and even helped us arrange taxis when needed! I would definitely stay here again.

Wir durften einen großartigen Aufenthalt im Appartement genießen. Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war durchweg herzlich und hilfreich. Die Unterkunft hat in Bezug auf Ausstattung und Sauberkeit unsere Vorstellungen übertroffen. Selbst Kochen war in der bestens ausgestatteten Küchenzeile ohne Probleme möglich. Auch das nachfüllen der Gasflasche wurde durch den Ansprechpartner vor Ort innerhalb von Minuten durchgeführt. Wir würden die Unterkunft aufgrund von sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und der Lage (Strand, Einkaufen und Gastronomie fußläufig erreichbar) auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank Sophie und Lars für die besondere Gastfreundschaft!! :)

We verbleven 3 dagen in het huis van Richard en waren heel tevreden. Alles is aanwezig. Het strand vlakbij hadden we helemaal voor ons alleen. We regelden onze uitstap naar de Salinas en haaien via Richard en deden pok nog een onverwachte stop om murene te eten. Richard reageerde vlug op berichten en was erg aardig. Murdeira is heel rustig en een leuke afwisseling tov santa maria. Bedankt voor het afscheidsdrankje!

Great host and even better stay. Joao was very attentive and his place with two huge balconies and 3 big bedrooms was great. My guests were hesitant to stay in Espargos because Santa Maria is where is supposedly hip but I highly recommend Joao’s apartment in the heart of Esparagos. The local restaurants Joao recommended were also a great addition to our trip. Will definitely stay longer when I return to Sal.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Airbnb Ist direkt am Meer und Restaurants sind in 10min Fußweg erreichbar. Der Ausblick auf das Meer beim Sonnenuntergang ist atemberaubend. Unser Gastgeber Peter hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und verabschiedet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Airbnb uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Maison face à la mer pour dormir avec le bruit des vagues. Jolie vue sur le port de Palmeira. La maison en travaux (jamais terminée) à côté n’est pas gênante. Petit port industriel et de pêche. Village plein de charme pour se plonger dans l’ambiance cap verdienne. Ralf répond à vos questions très rapidement et vous donnera des supers adresses pour dîner ou prendre un petit déjeuner avec les locaux. Palmeira est à 4mn en voiture et à 30mn de Santa Maria pour profiter des plages et des bars festifs. Merci à Ralf pour son accueil et nous recommandons la Surf House pour ceux qui souhaitent loger dans l’un des rares endroits authentiques de l’île de Sal. .

I loved my stay in this airbnb! The room was spacious & clean, it even had a beautiful balcony with flowers. The person responsible of the property is incredibly nice & helpful. I will definitely book here again my next time on the island! Thank you!

Sal is a beautiful island, but Patricia's place is actually what made it perfect for us. Murdeira Village really is the best area to stay if you like to feel you have the beach to yourself, a lovely clean pool ( 1 min from your door), handy restaurant and a stunning, untouched coast line to walk along. The homes in this area have been designed thoughtfully and very pleasant to view and pretty streets to walk through. Ponto Preta & Santa Maria easy to visit via taxi as is all the sights on the island. The other beaches have huge waves! But we really loved most is coming back 'home' to Patricia's place. Super clean and easy to keep clean, lots of amenities if you like to cook and there's a convinience store 2 min away in a safe neighborhood, friendly neighbours -highly recommend. x

We enjoyed staying in Lorraine's apartment, being in the city and by the sea made it very easy for us to walk around day and night, enjoying the city vibes and at times sitting by the beach. it was nice finding drinking water, coffee, tea, sugar in the house. We were warmly welcomed by the manager, Stefan who took us round to see various restaurants and showed us where we could shop. He also helped us organize a tour to the island which was great. I would recommend Lorraine's house for your stay in Santa Maria.

The apartment is great and highly recommended. Ana has a good heart and everything was fantastically organized from arrival to accommodation. Communication was very quick and friendly, helpful.

Lejligheden var perfekt til vores familie på 2 voksne og 4 børn. Det var lækkert med 2 badeværelser og vaskemaskine. Det tager 5 minutter at gå til stranden og 10 minutter til byen. Der er et par små supermarkeder i nærheden hvor man kan købe det mest nødvendige. Vikki er en god vært og hurtig til at svare på SMS. Hun kan også være behjælpelig med transfer fra lufthavn ved ankomst. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

Boa localização e ótimas condições. Os anfitriões foram muito prestáveis na chegada e na resolução de pequenos problemas durante o estadia. A casa é uma opção perfeita para quem pretende fugir aos resorts e aproveitar a ilha de forma mais local.

I had a great stay at this apartment. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach and local amenities. The apartment itself was clean, had a beautiful sea view, and access to its own pool with plenty of available chairs. The building felt safe and secure, and the host was very responsive and proactive throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

Susana est une excellente hôte, très réactive, de bon conseillé et très arrangeante. L’appartement est spacieux calme et propre, en étages, avec une terrasse donnant sur la piscine. La rue principale est accessible en 5 minutes à pieds, il y a un supermarché à 20 mètres de l’appartement.

Gostámos muito dos nossos dias no Raio do Sol. A localização é ótima e bastante sossegado. Abrimos a janela e ouvimos o mar. O apartamento tem tudo o necessário. Tem toalhas e lençóis da cama para mudar, mas não precisámos. Tem também toalhas de praia o que foi muito útil e até um chapéu de sol que não deu para usar porque estava muito vento. Também não aproveitámos bem a varanda para comer ou estar por causa do vento, mas abríamos a porta e estava-se muito bem porque tem redes nas janelas. Tinha água e cerveja no frigorífico o que foi muito simpático para quando se chega de viagem. A praia em frente à casa não é muito boa, mas é fácil e perto chegar à praia de Santa Maria e ao pontão, restaurantes e lojas, mercado... Já tenho vontade de voltar...
