Preserva una selva primaria con múltiples clases de arboles endémicos del área que sirven de alimento a los aulladores, titis, perezosos y muchas aves en especial tucanes que vienen a comer uvitas tropicales. Tenemos un camino interno para observar la selva. Entre Marzo-Mayo y Agosto-Oct se observa la migración de aves.
