You will find lots of amenities for an enjoyable stay, while allowing the opportunity to unwind and relax. There is fast wifi (200 Mbps) if you need to stay connected.

Beautiful, Magical, Treehouse

"Glamping at its' best"! 16' x 16' TreeHouse, suspended between 3 large fir trees, queen size bed, loft w/2 twin beds, composting toilet, much more, situated on 20 acres with a pond. Gas heater, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot. IMPORTANT: this is a Tree House! Going up the spiral staircase is an adventure in itself, so pack small bags (or packs) (large suitcases are not appropriate). Awesome Mountain Home in Zig Zag Oregon

This stunning two story A-frame home overlooks the Sandy River in a private, gated community. 2 bedrooms downstairs with a full bath and a loft with a king size bed, 2 sets of bunk beds and a second full bathroom upstairs. Amenities include a full kitchen, TV, cable and WiFi. The living room and dining room are an open design that look out onto a deck with a view of the river. A large fireplace provides perfect winter ambience. Four downhill ski areas are 30-40 min. Kid and pet friendly.

Venture across the deck and have your coffee on a big rock by the river. Play on Mt. Hood, explore the shops in town, or just watch the Sandy roll by from the cozy sofa. Relax in the hot tub overlooking the river. Sit by the fireplace with your pup. Start a movie on the projector in the bunk room. Wake up to the river view from the king size bed upstairs or downstairs sunroom. Repeat. Just under an hour from Portland, 35 mins to Timberline, 10 mins to Mt Hood National Forest.

The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

The Woodlands House

The Woodlands House sits on five acres of an old growth private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.
