This adobe casita is a special place – washed in sunlight, quiet and tucked into a half acre with grass, trees, flowers, rabbits and birds. Located right behind the Balloon Fiesta grounds and is just a few minutes drive, it is only 15-20 minutes from downtown Albuquerque and about 50 minutes from Santa Fe. Plenty of outdoor space in which to relax and soak up the sun. And great Wifi for remote work. The casita sits on the same lot as a larger house that is occupied by a long-term tenant.

Off the beaten path and surrounded by rural land, horses, and blooming cottonwoods, our casita is an ideal place to unwind and recharge.

The Cozy Corrales Casita

This Corrales casita is minutes to town but set back in the quiet, small farm community of Corrales. We are located on the popular corrales acequia (waterway) which you can walk/bike to the farmers market, bistros, wineries, breweries, shops and the Rio Grande Bosque and river. Our 500 sqft casita has all the amenities you need with the coziness of your own modern farmhouse. We live in the home next door and are happy to help with anything you need. No Oven/Stove due to Corrales Rules.

Casita on Rio Grande Riverside Park

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our 500 sq. ft. casita. The space is only accessible by a secure walkway connected to the main house. We will welcome you and hand you the keys to both your casita and the main house. You will have complete privacy surrounded by nature and the Corrales Bosque. The Bosque Trail runs directly behind your casita. You can walk, bike, or jog along the acequia (waterway) or wander along the Rio Grande River and gaze at the majestic Sandia Mountain across the water.

Perfect place for quiet and nature, up against the Sandia Wilderness and in the mountains next to Albuquerque. Slightly cooler for the altitude, our place is a respite from the heat but only 10 to 30 minutes from everything in the city. Conveniently located near trails, the tram, and the balloon fiesta. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the views, the pool and the hot tub (open mid march and close right after the ballon fiesta by the end of October) , 4 br, 3.5 ba, spacious, 3,000 sq feet!. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

The Blue Door Suite in Albuquerque’s far north valley sits separately inside a one hundred year old adobe home. Guests have a private entrance into a cozy yard with large shade trees, an herb garden and seating for dining, morning coffee, or just relaxing. The Blue Door is next to a clean working farm, so you can often hear the roosters and goats singing their songs.
