Outside the Cabin is a deck overlooking the river with an antler chandelier. Next to the cabin is a large, tiled patio that is set up with a fireplace and barbecue. Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

Upper - Cozy and Quiet Studio

This is a small studio with a very comfy remote controlled adjustable (head and feet) queen size bed, kitchen, and bathroom. Perfect for two. But we can make an exception and add a cot for an extra person or you may bring your own infant bed. This will make it a little tight but it’s doable. The kitchen has a microwave, hot plate and electric fry pan for cooking and a nice refrigerator.
