This cozy cottage walking distance from the Black River invites you to come swim, fish, or bring your kayak. Later you can hang out on the patio, soak in the claw foot tub, or build a warm fire in the wood stove. Enjoy nature just 20 minutes from White Lake. This is a relatively secluded location in a private neighborhood intended for getting back to nature. *Please note that the neighborhood was flooded in hurricane Florence last October so some of the homes are currently under renovation.

Country tiny house

Here's a chance to try out a great, fully furnished tiny home 1 hour from the beach. Heat & ac, grill, campfire pit, outdoor seating, inside a privacy fence in a quiet country setting. There is a farm across the road, when the wind blows from the southwest you might experience the smell of livestock but mostly it's fresh air and sunshine. Sorry but NOT suitable for children or elderly because of steep staircase. Small hot water heater, may have to wait between showers No Guests in Pool! NO KIDS!

There is a pool table and a screened in porch. 2 Queen beds,2 Full beds. Beautiful knotty pine walls. Private street with a private community dock. The end of the dock faces west to capture breathtaking sunsets.

Rustic Countryside Retreat with a Highland cow, horses, etc., Our rustic barn apartment offers a secluded atmosphere to reconnect with nature or work in a quiet natural setting. Unwind at our pool/gazebo and interact with some of our farm animals. keep in mind this is a rustic setting- you must go up a flight of stairs to enter /exit, but the view from the top is lovely! All children/pets must be highly supervised due to the nature of farm animlas/life!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The Elizabeth, named affectionately after my late grandmother. Grandma Liz was a widowed single mother who worked hard to build and buy this lovely home. I am honored to have inherited and restored it as a home away from home for myself and others.
