Vernon Lakeshore Paradise Retreat

Enjoy a glamping experience in the cosy Snug (10ft. by 12 ft.). With high peaked ceiling, the snug sits at the waters edge. Access your private bathroom inside the main house through the doorway closest to the snug . At night you may be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves. You might see beaver who swim by under the willows at dawn and dusk and stop to nibble on the willow leaves, raccoon or deer. Bald headed and golden eagles nest above hiking trails in the pine forest steps away.

Riverside Ranch sits on 37 beautiful acres alongside the Shushwap River, 1km upriver from Mara Lake. We are located on Oyamas Isthmus between Wood Lake to the south and beautiful Kalamalka Lake to the north. The rail trail is minutes away and is great for walking or cycling and goes right around Wood Lake (Turtle Bay pub is a great stop on this route) as well as along the shore of Kalamalka Lake right into Vernon. There are great hikes, skiing (Big White and Silverstar), mountain biking, golf and vineyards all around and there are buses to Vernon or Kelowna a short walk away
