Comfortable camper & big kitchen

Comfortable lived in camper on small homestead. Queen size bed, smart tv, day bed that converts to king size bed. Big sink, lots of counter space, lots of storage. Heat and air for all seasons. Quick drive to Harrisburg or Eldorado. This was our home for 3 years while I was a travel Healthcare worker and I hope it can continue to serve others. It is located on a permanent spot right next to our home with electric, sewer, and water hooked up. 30 min to Garden of the Gods so perfect for your base!

Harrisburg is close to a wonderful wine Trail, the SNF which includes Garden of the Gods, Bell Smith Springs,Burden Falls, Pounds Hollow Lake and much More. Were also within Driving distance to Saline County Conservation Area, Sahara Woods SRA, Tunnel Hill State Trail, and Cave in Rock State Park. SO if adventure is what your after your in the right place !

Relax among flowers, fountains, read a good book on the patio couch and nearby hiking trails. Washer/dryer & private pagoda.

Shawnee Forest Retreat, Suite A

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this newly remodeled and centrally-located two bedroom Suite. We are a short walk from downtown Harrisburg, a quick drive from restaurants or stores in town, and within easy driving distance of sites in the Eastern end of the Shawnee National Forest. These sites include such places as The Garden of the Gods, The iron Furnace, The Chocolate Factory, Dixon Springs Pool, Burden Falls and many other attractions, parks and trailheads.

Choisser Burnett House - Vintage Charm & Comfort

The historic Choisser Burnett House is located at 1201 Organ Street in Eldorado, Illinois.  A revival style home built in the 1880's, it was home to several prominent families who were responsible for business development in the area. Twenty minutes minutes south is the  Shawnee National Forest whose terrain spans woodlands, hills and lakes and it's wildlife includes bald eagles. There is a sister house across the street, The Paddock at 1208 which sleeps 6 and is also on Airbnb.com.

We also packed as many amenities as we could into this property including an oversized 6-Person hot tub, 500 MBPS fiber internet, outdoor tv, fire pit table, Weber grill, hammock swings, custom bathroom with rainfall shower, full kitchen, coffee bar, king & queen sized beds, bean bag toss, board games and much more!

Cozy Respite in Harrisburg, IL

This apartment is centrally located in our little town of Harrisburg which is the Gateway to the beautiful Shawnee National Forest. It is cozy and comfortable, boasting a large living room, furnished with a couch, chair, desk and streaming TV. The eat-in kitchen contains a full- size electric stove, refrigerator, and microwave as well as a dining table with 4 chairs. The bedroom is furnished with a very comfy new king size bed. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

This home is only about six miles from Garden of the Gods and about ten miles from Rim Rock and Pounds Hollow and a short drive to Bell Smith Springs and Burden Falls. Spend the day sightseeing at all the Shawnee National Park attractions nearby, such as Garden of the Gods, Fern Clyffe State Park, and many others. The property is just 5 to 7 minutes away from the Sahara Woods Fishing and Hunting area and a brand new ATV park.
