The Nice Tent

The nice tent is the place to go when you want to get immersed in nature but not wake up with a backache. A queen sized bed with bedding, CLEAN composting toilet, shower, kitchen, woodstove, and fire pit are all available for you. All you need are the clothes on your back, some food, and maybe a swimsuit to hit the local beaches. You're not packed right next to another tent and there's enough silence that you can hear the seals singing in the fall. Come see what you didn't know you were missing.

Gifford Island Getaway - Just You and Nature

Escape the noise of everyday life and discover your private retreat on Gifford Island- a place of peace, untouched beauty and deep connection with nature, where you will be the Island's only guest. Accessible only by boat. We’ll pick you up from the Indian Point Wharf or the Mahone Bay Civic Marina. Our tenting area has 4 sites around a shared center area, with parking just steps away. Great for groups. Each site has a grass spot to pitch the tent and a small gravel area. Outhouse near by and outside shower available Get away from it all when you stay under the stars.
