This stay far exceeded our expectations. It is hard to judge what the set up at this resort is like and some people’s google reviews did not help. It worked out really great. Our studio room was clean, spacious and had a super comfortable bed. This is not an all-inclusive resort and there is only one restaurant on site. The restaurant was good and the food was good too. You also have an option to bring your own groceries as there is a good size fridge, microwave, dishes, cutlery and glass wear. Coffee maker and margarita maker. There’s another restaurant right beside the resort, which is also a great choice. There are two pools. The upper pool and a lower pool down by the beach, both are great. The staff at this resort are super friendly and helpful.

It was easy to get in when we arrived and timing was flexible, which was helpful with the ferry ride. Guests should note that you can type “Pineapple Cove” into Google to locate the property. It was delightfully clean inside. We agreed with an earlier commenter that a Jeep would be most appropriate for this property, but our rented Kia Soul handled the driveway fine—it’s just steep, not bumpy. We all enjoyed the pool and backyard. We enjoyed the surprise visits from local fauna—iguanas, chickens, and horses. The beach chairs and umbrellas were so useful and much appreciated. Also! There were plenty of towels and they were so soft and terrific, which was a treat. All in all, a great laid-back vacation rental if you are looking for a beach vacation with very little to demand your attention. Thanks, Mari!

Nos encantó la casa, estuvo perfecta para pasar el fin de semana. Todo muy limpio y bonito. La cocina está bien equipada y espaciosa. Aileen fue muy amable, nos dio buenas recomendaciones y estuvo atenta.

So many great things to say, but I’ll start with the location. Walking distance to downtown Esperanza with cafes, restaurants, and Esperanza beach. Pair that location with a complement of beach equipment and a wagon to just roll it on down made beaching in town super easy. The location was also a great jumping off point for driving to and exploring other beautiful beaches on the south of the island (Las Caracas, La Chiva). The property itself was also great for a family and it had so much character with the beautiful mural and mango trees. The host was super responsive including coordinating pick up of an item left behind. It was a great spot to enjoy a bit of Vieques from!

Our host Amy could not have been more helpful. She was extremely responsive when we needed questions answered. And she took care of anything we needed. Cannot recommend the beauty and tranquility of Vieques more.

We felt very lucky to have last-minute gotten a booking, and were even happily surprised when we arrived at the resort to find that it even exceeded our own expectations! The resort is beautifully maintained, well-run, and suited to support your stay in any way you'd like to experience St. Thomas. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and fully stocked with anything you need for your stay. The photos don't do the beauty of this place justice. We loved it here!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Staying at sueyuen’s place feels like staying with a kind family member. The apartment is cozy and simple but the view is incredible. The location is a bit away from town but we were still able to walk to the beach and Red Hook. We would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful stay . Host was super responsive . The apartment itself is very cute and the views of the bay are breathtaking . The one minor challenge is that it is on top of the hill and the approach to the building is steep - whether you’re driving or walking . Very convenient to be right next to the Westin which has some nice restaurants and nice bars , and a taxi stand if you’re not driving during your stay . Would highly recommend if you’re more budget conscious because the premier hotels can be very very expensive.

I would definitely come again. Super convenient especially if u have a car. Lots of parking available, nearby restaurants and beaches, WiFi was also good. No complaints :)

This place was beautiful! The gardens leading to the villa were gorgeous and full of wildlife. The outdoor space at this place was our favorite part. There was a table and grill for eating, plus ample room for lounging. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We had an absolutely amazing time on the island!
