Neighborhood is walkable - two miles from the French Quarter and one mile from City Park. Across the street from the Fairgrounds Race Course (Jazz Fest), corner market, Catty Shack (best tacos in NOLA), Jockey’s Pub (great neighborhood bar), and Toast Fairgrounds (amazing breakfast spot). ½ mile walk or ride to Liuzza's by the track, Swirl wine shop, Fair grinds coffee shop, Café Degas, Lola, Santa Fe Restaurant (best margaritas in town), Terranova Market and Conseco’s Market. You will have access to your private courtyard and the entire suite. We will be available for most guest check-ins and welcome you to hang with us on our porch under the large oak tree with a cool beverage. There are so many wonderful places in this city and we enjoy making recommendations based on your interests. The suite is situated across the street from the Fairgrounds Race Course, where Jazz Fest is held, the corner market, and Catty Shack, which has the best tacos in NOLA. The neighborhood is close to the French Quarter and City Park. Free street parking. There are always spaces available except during Jazz Fest. During this time, you can park in our driveway. City bus system close by, St Charles Streetcar within walking distance and only $7-$9 by Uber or Lyft into the center of the city. Parking outside right in front of the house. (Of course, on occasion, you may have to park a couple spots away, however it's rarely a problem to park right in front). Clementine's Room is a lovely hideaway in Mid City on Bayou St. John. It is simply a bedroom/bath with tile shower, washer/dryer, and king bed. The door is next to a gazebo for outdoor time and the desk can be arranged for 2 to dine inside. There is a large Roku tv for streaming shows, a mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle & coffee funnel for making morning coffee or tea, and dishes & flatware for heating up a snack. Also, it can be combined with our Sweet Suite for 2bed/2bath family booking

This is our family cottage home in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is newly renovated, and decorated. We occasionally open it to all responsible, respectful, adult guest who abide by the house rules. No outside guest allowed after check in. It is 6.7 miles/15 minute drive to New Orleans/ French Quarter. We live next door. Absolutely no parties/ Booking Person must be the guest/ no more than 3 guest ever. We may ask for ID.
