Welcome to Barra Shores, an Escape for Every Body. Relax with family or friends at this peaceful location. The beautiful landscape overlooks the Northumberland Shore. The property includes barrier-free facilities such as wooded trails, open field, gazebo, surrounding cement walkways and easy water access. Unwind in the hot tub or cozy up around the fire pit while enjoying the amazing view. Our cottage is a place where people of all ages and abilities can stay, escape and enjoy the outdoors.

Country Cabin Getaway

Enjoy a peaceful getaway at this recently constructed two bedroom cabin in a beautiful rural paved area only a few minutes from the Village of St. Andrew’s and 20 minutes from town of Antigonish and St. Francis Xavier University. Hosts reside on same property and operate a Market Vegetable Garden so are readily available if needed. Lots of space for an enjoyable walk through nature surroundings. Lots of trees on property and river situated just behind. Pets allowed at cabin. Come and enjoy!

Come stay at our two bedroom, two lofts, air conditioned / heated Keppoch Mountain Cottage with direct access to trails. Ride, walk, ski, or snowshoe right onto Keppoch trails (Shindig Hollow Trail) directly from the backyard! Nestled in 2.5 acres of woods, the many windows and high ceilings make our retreat a bright, spacious place to rest in-between your adventures. IMPORTANT: Our cottage is NOT at the Keppoch Lodge. Feel free to utilize the canoe and two Kayaks for a tour of picturesque, Dunns Cove or simply relax in one of the chairs on the private beach and watch the sunset.
