We encourage you to enjoy coffee on the dock in the morning! Views from the house vary with the season due to the leaves on the trees. The lake is always beautiful.

The Sugar House on Maple Hill Road was once the site of a traditional Sugar House. The post and beams, wooden ceiling boards, 26 foot ceiling enhances the interior beauty. The house sits on 7 acres of woods with a small stream. Stowe Mountain Resort, The Trapp Family Lodge, Smugglers Notch, Long Trail, are just a few of the near by points of interest. We are conveniently located within 45 mins of 3 great ski - snowboard mountains, a water park, zip lining, wineries, breweries, and shopping. A 10 minute walk will get you to The Long Trail, to do some hiking. The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is another great trail for walking and biking. Vermont also has over 100 covered bridges for you to explore. Our guest house is the perfect little spot to call home while in Vermont. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of our county setting.

Forest Hideaway

Our single story 2 bedroom 1 bath home is located within 30 minutes of Mad River Glen and Sugarbush ski areas and the quaint towns of Bristol, Richmond and Waitsfield. Drive another 15 minutes to Burlington or the Bolton Valley Ski Area. Hiking, biking and cross country skiing trails are nearby, or just sit on the porch and enjoy the sounds of the nearby river. Snow tires and front wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles necessary during the winter months.

Waterfront cabin

This one bedroom waterfront guest cabin is located on Great Hosmer Pond in the beautiful town of Craftsbury Common, Vermont. The owners of the property live in the main house. The cabin has access to the cross country ski trails of the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Swimming dock on property with access to a canoe and kayaks. The cabin is made of double tongue and grooved red western cedar. The cabin is available year round except for 'mud season'.
