Wonderful stay, despite check in challenges out of Host control. As an AMERICAN & EGYPTIAN COUPLE, the security was a major pain. They rejected our Marriage Contract despite having everything we needed, resulting in us having to call the Host and the Lawyer to navigate one older security man. Thankful I could get the lawyer on the phone and also that the Host could come to rescue us. After one hour of trying to check in, we were finally successful. 🔑 Great apartment, major check-in difficulties, beautiful and peaceful private beach and boardwalk! Will most likely opt for places without security next time to avoid this check in challenge.

Je voyage énormément. Ahmed est un hôte exceptionnel car il s'adapte extrêmement bien a la culture et aux attentes de ses clients. Il apporte de la sécurité, confort, il est rempli de bienveillance... Je reviendrai assurément car l'appartement et son emplacement de haute qualité. Juste bien veiller a noté les bonnes informations sur le gps pour arriver à la résidence.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Lage ist super, viele Geschäfte und Restaurants sind in der Nähe, der Ausblick vom Balkon ist fantastisch. Die Geräusche von einer Klimaanlage eines anderen Gebäudes sind mal mehr und mal weniger zu hören, insgesamt muss man wissen, dass man in einer Stadt ist. Oft haben wir den Privatstrand der Anlage genutzt, es sind ca. 10 Minuten zu laufen oder man kann den shuttle-service nutzen. Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet und sauber, ein paar Flecken auf dem Sofa sollten beseitigt werden. Die Kommunikation vor Ort vor sehr gut, alle kleinen Probleme wurden umgehend und schnell gelöst. Wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt, vielen Dank an den Gastgeber!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Oumou. La villa est magnifique, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et le jardin est sublime. Oumou a été très réactive. Amadou, le gardien, s'est montré très serviable et disponible. Aïssatou nous a cuisiné de delicieux plats sénégalais. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement. Encore un grand merci à tous

Le logement de Pierre est idéalement situé, à quelques pas de la plage et du centre ville de Popenguine; dans un environnement calme et agréable. Le studio est très spacieux avec toute les commodités nécessaires pour passer un agréable séjour. J'ai eu l'agréable surprise d'avoir le petit déjeuner inclus, ce qui fut très appréciable. Pierre à été très arrangeant concernant mon horaire d'arrivée et de départ et à même réservé le taxi pour mon départ à l'aéroport. La piscine est idéale pour se rafraîchir et farniente. Tous le staff a été aux petits soins, je recommande vivement et n'hésiterai pas à revenir lors de prochains séjours.

Walid was a great host, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. He was always available if I needed anything, but otherwise left to be at home - welcomed after a day exploring! The place was exactly what I expected, located on the West Bank, a very short walk from the public ferry. It offered some peace from intensity of the city. The secluded garden was a special place to start and finish days, feeling immersed in a more authentic Egyptian experience than I would get anywhere else. The Egyptian and Moroccan architecture makes for a fantastic experience, with domed ceilings and arches built into all the rooms, and some quite special bathrooms (I had a tour). My room was spacious, had plenty of places to spread out my things and all the modern features needed (AC, fridge, hot water, power sockets). Walid and his family have clearly put passion, energy and creativity into building this place and I really wish Walid success with future plans, which I hope to return and see.

Ahmed was absolutely perfect as a host. Very responsive to every query or request. The place itself had everything you need and was clean. It is also really well located right in the heart of the action near the Hurghada Marina and Sheraton Street. A nice small beach is just 5 mins walk away as is a really good supermarket where you can buy *everything* (without haggling) until 2am! If you're looking for a "live like a local Egyptian" experience in a place where most accomodation options are package resorts, look no further. There is also a 24 hour reception for anything you need.

This is our second time staying here. We loved it the first time we stayed so we decided to stay again and it did not disappoint. There were notable improvements such as mirrors in all rooms and extra crockery, utensils, etc, in the kitchen. The host clearly takes recommendations on board. WiFi, electricity etc. was constant. Security was tight, and the property was well maintained and clean. This property is indeed a home away from home. The manager of the property Rita was very pleasant and kept us informed of activities in the area and when the cleaner would be arriving, she was also very responsive when we needed her urgently (we were locked out). The cleaner was hardworking and discreet. All in all, a fabulous stay again and an A-star service. They were very flexible with arrival and departure times, which was much appreciated. Thank you, Osas, and thank you, Rita. We look forward to our next stay.

The Mango guest house (Syaha house)

We only stayed one night, it was great value for what we paid. I would recommend staying here over going to a hotel, it was authentic and had a great ambiance. It was slightly tricky to find in the dark, but no big deal, they did offer to come get us at the ferry harbour. They also offered to arrange a taxi from airport if needed. I would stay here anytime again for a much longer time.

I felt at home at Tigy's place. The house is in a secure gated community, providing a quiet environment. The air conditioning works well, and there is excellent water pressure. Mike, the caretaker, is always available for assistance. I highly recommend Tigy's place if you're seeking a safe and clean place in Conakry.

kleines schnuckeliches Anwesen nur 50 Meter von der Hauptstraße und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Energisch und gut verwaltet, Pico bello sauber, auch Außenbereich! Die Hausherrin ist resolut und effektiv und sehr hilfsbereit. Ebenso sauber ist der Minipool - eine wunderbare Erfrischung und der Poolboy ist fix dabei alles sauber zu halten - eine Freude! Die Zimmer nach Stämmen benamt sind urig und klein aber alles notwendige drin und die Klimaanlage ist stark genug auch das Badezimmer mitzukühlen - ein Genuß wie jeder weiß, wie es ohne bei 36°C ist! Der Mückenschutz ist mit Rahmen, so daß man quasi im Himmelbett liegt - wunderbar! Hier kann man auch gut mehr als eine Nacht verbringen, wir schauen bestimmt wieder rein. Nicht für die Bewertung relevant, aber das Hühnchen hat nicht so unseren Geschmack getroffen, dafür war mein Gemüse super.
