A peaceful place nestled in the piñon/juniper forest, with the 14,000’ Sangre de Cristo peaks to the east and the San Luis Valley stretching west. Stunning sunsets! Very private. Hot tub. 10 minute drive to Crestone, near hiking trails and the numerous spiritual centers. This is also a great base camp for climbing Challenger Point and Kit Carson Peak. Great Sand Dunes National Park is a one hour drive. Three commercial hot springs near by. Dark Sky Community. No pets or smoking. Come, enjoy!

The Bastion is a spacious craftsman timber frame home with wood burning stove located on 40 acres, minutes from Joyful Journey and Valley View hot springs. Goat friends await at this modern & cozy ranchette. The home well-situated for exploring the hidden gems and natural wonders scattered across this valley. Listing is for a private, 2 bed 1 bath home with kitchen, living room, and large garage as well as access to parts of the land. Host lives on property, in a nearby detached casita.

Explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest in the sunny Rocky Mountains. A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax and adventure in a comfortable modern cabin all <15 mins from historic downtown Salida, CO. We designed the Glass Greenhouse with massive windows, a private wraparound deck with a hanging bed, and views of the national forest at the back of the property. Our goal was to bring the outside in while you enjoy the comforts of a modern cabin.

Quiet La Garita Cabin | Trails, Stars & Wood Stove

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

Private off street parking for one vehicle. Convenient walking distance to Downtown Westcliffe. A mini kitchen with a induction hot plate, coffee maker, toaster and small refrigerator should you choose to cook in. Level one and level 2 EV charging is available...please bring your own cord.
