Small salumeria with excellent house made salumi/bacon and excellent local fresh meats (steaks, pork, lamb and housemade sausages). Small in-house dining area with excellent and well-priced sandwiches and pizza (our current go to for great pizza and wine in Healdsburg). They serve and sell the Journeyman/San Lorenzo label chards and reds at excellent pricing. Highly recommended!!

One of our favorite restaurants, but also with the locals, so make a reservation or go early (tip, they are open for lunch and serve the ramen at the back bar/patio area which normally at nights, only serves the izakaya/robata portion of the menu).

If you want to be blown out of the proverbial culinary water and the French laundry is too far a drive(or reservations too difficult), then go to Single Thread (in the same building in Healdsburg that houses Journeyman Meat Co.). Asian inspired world class (should be 3 star Michelin if it isn’t already) cuisine. This is the real deal and only 30 mins away in Healdsburg. Be prepared to spend 4-500/person with drinks/taxes. Much easier to get reservations then the French Laundry but definitely needed as far ahead as possible.

Merry Edwards of the 116 just north of Sebastopol is absolutely one of my favorite Wineries in the area, although she became famous for her sauvignon blanc which I still think is reasonable and awesome, the pinots are less of a bargain but worth it.
