Lovely Italian restaurant in the high street of Shoreham. Really nice to sit outside on a warm day. The seafood risotto is great!

If you fancy a nice stroll along the beach, this is about a 1 hour walk and makes a nice way of seeing the different parts of the beach and local nature reserve - Widewater lagoon.
This cafe is busy with a great buzz, and an ideal spot for a coffee or lunch or a drink. There is an ice cream stand outside and a playground next door on a grass area so a great place to go if you want to entertain the kids too.

28 Brighton RdIf you fancy a nice stroll along the beach, this is about a 1 hour walk and makes a nice way of seeing the different parts of the beach and local nature reserve - Widewater lagoon.
This cafe is busy with a great buzz, and an ideal spot for a coffee or lunch or a drink. There is an ice cream stand outside and a playground next door on a grass area so a great place to go if you want to entertain the kids too.
This is run by a couple called Sam and Amy and they do some really lovely Spanish tapas! It's a cafe by day and a quiet wine bar / tapas bar in the evening. Great for small groups or couples. The food is really good quality and they are currently doing takeaway too although it is to be confirmed if this will still be available once lockdown is over.

A great place for Italian small plates. There is one in Hove and one in Brighton. Personally I have only been to the Hove one but can highly recommend!

Our favourite chippy! They are cooked fresh to order so takes 10-15 mins at times and currently only take cash though this may change. So best to order, then go to the cash point in town and head back to pay/collect. Personally I love the cheesy chips!

The BEST crab! I highly recommend the crab on chips! This is located in town at an area called Splash Point. There is a great little seating area next to it with bits for kids to jump and run around and within 5 minutes there is a play park and gardens and mini golf too. Sightseeing
This is a great place for a walk and views of the local area and seaside and fun for a picnic too. You can drive to the bottom and then walk up from the carpark in about 20 minutes, maybe a bit longer with kids. You then reach the ring at the top and have lovely views!

Rockpooling is a fun activity for all ages, and it is so close to the house, 5 mins wak.

You can wander here from the house within an hour and if you like to see small planes it's a good little place to wander to. From here, you can walk along the river too which is a nice little walk or bike ride.
